This page was created to be a forum for runners who enjoy the Bob Jones Trail, and who are looking for other runners to run with there.
The San Luis Obispo area is an absolutely spectacular place to live and visit. For years I enjoyed walking biking and running on the Bob Jones Trail and wondered if there were others who liked to run there as well.
From the trail-head at the parking lot to the end of the pier is a perfect 3 mile run. Round trip its 6 miles. There are other side trails you can also take. For example you can run up the hill to the south east of the trail just as you get to the road access to the golf course. There are several trails up there worth exploring.
Sadly, I moved out of the area more than a year ago, but i still have a lot of family in the area that i visit often. Please allow this page to become a community page and post and conversate among-st yourselves.
