Love their newly drinkable mochi topping. Give you a sticky texture combination with your drink. Their Matcha Strawberry latte is our favoriteFood: 5/5
I tried different locations before but discovered this location in a delightful area. Even during lunchtime, parking is a breeze. Don't miss their standout drink, the unique and flavorful banana milk tea. Indulge in this delightful experience and let your taste buds rejoice.Food: 5/5
I feel like boba guys used to be better, lots of competition these days. Pretty small shop geared towards take out. Lots of interesting flavor combos, some work some do not. Suggest staying with the basic flavor combos. Staff friendly. You can order ahead via app and pick up in the store.Food: 3/5
Went right when they opened and they said the boba pearls wouldn’t be ready for another 30-45 minutes . I’m baffled, bc these guys claim to elevate the boba game and serve next level boba, yet there is no boba. Cutting corners on prep and not having your namesake ready to order at opening is a no for me. Super disappointed.Food: 1/5
first time trying boba guys, it was pretty good and staff was great - tried the matcha drink but would have preferred the matcha latte version
The black milk tea is way too milky. Almost no tea taste, super disappointing. It tastes like brown sugar boba milk without the brown sugar. Not sure if it’s just this location since I don’t remember it being bad during previous Boba Guys’ visits.
Solid spot for boba that has quality ingredients! Bin and Andrew have a large social media following and it's good to see them become successful after many years! This location is at The Platform in Culver City and is just a fun, new spot to check out in general with some boutiques and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream next door! Definitely visit!! Anyways, the boba here is very solid. Their Black Sesame is yummy, but if you don't like a gritty texture then it may not be for you. Super flavorful with fresh grounded black sesame! The Dirty Banana is subtle and yummy as well. A light banana flavoring with a bold espresso shot to give you some energy! Both were really enjoyable for me. Overall, will come back to check out their other boba drinks!
It’s all in the name - you come to this spot for boba, though they do offer the option of no-boba drinks. Came here with four other friends on a Saturday afternoon and hung out at one of the outdoor tables there was an outlet underneath the bench seating in case you need to charge your phone. Paid parking is available in the garage or you can try your luck with metered street parking. Public restrooms are available by the Margot entrance. Credit cards accepted. Dogs are allowed. The line was about 5 groups deep, but it moved fairly quickly. You order/pay first and then they call your name when your drink order is ready. I got a hot matcha latte at 50% sweetness and I think they use honey as a sweetener. I’ve had their iced matcha with boba before too, and they give a generous amount. The boba is super soft and chewy, but it does get a bit cloying after a while, so you could also ask for less boba it’s not cheaper if you do this though.
Black sugar hojicha w boba: Yesss. I love hojicha so I was happy to see this at boba guys. The hojicha here is more herby and nutty, and you can tell it's roasted matcha. I do prefer that more subtle is it coffee or is it tea flavor that I've had at other places, but this was still good! The boba was pretty good this time; it's perfectly sweet and has a nice chew and squish. I remember it being worse last time. Yay for upgrades.
This place is good overall but I think the drinks are missing a lot of flavor I got the classic black milk tea it was okay but it was not very sweet and was missing flavor so if you try it I would recommend 75 percent sugar.
