Actually not a location with seating. There is a screen with options to order from 25 different restaurants. The food gets prepared in the back, and then it will be handed out or out in lockers one can access via a bar code. The gluten-free pizza with cauliflower was good, the fresh orange juice looked like lemonade but was tasty as well.
This isn’t the Sage on Culver/Sepulveda anymore. This is a ghost kitchen under an overpass near Fox Hills. I didn’t realize my pickup order was at a different location until I showed up to the original to see all the lights off. Food quality was subpar and soggy. $50 for two Orange chicken bowls.. not worth it at all. 0/5 would not recommend.
I've been here at least 3 or 4 times on dates or with friends. The ingredients are premium quality, flavors outstanding, presentation is okay, atmosphere used to have more plants in the patio pre-pandemic, customer service is fine and the prices are a bit high. Seriously LOVE that they have an immunity shot and range of delicious non-alcoholic drinks drinks I actually want to order, but the Sinus Blaster was $6 for a half full shot glass 2oz is usual for immunity shots, but usually cost $4 or less in the grocery stores. The Strawberry Pina Colada tasted like a regular Strawberry Smoothie, didn't notice a Pina Colada taste. My friend really likes the vegan donuts, but our other friend wasn't a fan. I found the dough kinda dense, but not super sweet, the icing was best on the blueberry. Wasn't fond of the chocolate icing. The hot chocolate used premium ingredients, but tastes rather thin for me I'd say make this an after treat at ChocoVivo and order a hot chocolate exactly how you like it. It was good, but I'm very particular. It's not as rich as the Amara Cafe ? hot chocolate or the place in South Pasadena, but those use dairy unless you request another option. The Artichoke and Eggplant pizza was interesting, great taste, but I felt like it needed something crunchy to break up the smooth textures. My friend loved it! The Brazilian bowl had a great combination of flavors, nice texture. Portion sizes were definitely sharable if ordering a few things depending on how hungry you are I love small bites of several options. And finally, the nachos were crunchy with great toppings, but I do love cheese, so being vegan, it was hard to fully enjoy these. Plus, I adore every bite fully loaded and well balanced. It took a bit of work to ensure every bite was covered the way I like, but that's just picky and my personal thing...it comes how most are. Piled up. Definitely a shareable size for the 3 of us last night. I didn't try it, but my friend said her matcha wasn't very sweet, so you may want to ask for agave, honey or sugar your options. For the nomads: There is a restroom, but it's been years since I used it so don't remember anything special about it. I don't believe there are any usable outlets to plug in and work/charge up. Overall this is a fantastic place for a vegan date and you can probably still enjoy it even if not vegan. They have juices, bakery items, an alcohol menu I don't check that, so ask someone else haha, nice selection of sandwiches, pizzas, appetizers, sides, etc. One of my FAVORITES that we didn't order last might sadly is the Buffalo Califlower! Vegetarian options: It's a vegan restaurant
first of all, i’d like to mention that i came here for two meals in a row-! it was that good. sage definitely makes the list of my favorite restaurants of all time. the service was good, the atmosphere in the restaurant is wonderful, and the food is delicious! everything i had from here was phenomenal and tasted fresh. i really enjoyed the banh mi sandwich; additionally, i’d recommend any of the pizzas here. both the gluten free crust and the regular crust are well-made. i didn’t feel like i was missing anything when i ordered the gluten free one. the cauliflower wings here are definitely worth a try as well, they aren’t overly battered but still have a good crunch, texture, and flavor. finally, i really loved the ice cream kind kreme here at sage! i’ve been through my share of disappointing vegan ice cream, and although i will say it melts fast, the taste is spot on. the strawberry was my favorite. overall, this has definitely become one of my favorites, and i’m really glad i was in the area to try it out. definitely recommend!
Cute spot with a lot of options. I got the sweet potato pancakes and they were good. My friend said that her “crab cakes” were delicious. The one thing that wasn’t great was that our server forgot part of our order. I assume it’s because they thought that remembering our order without writing it down looks impressive but it was frustrating more than anything. Lastly, we tried the cinnamon roll and it was extremely dry and not fresh at all so I would skip the baked goods.
Delicious nutrition with good portions. We loved this place. Forgot to take pictures Rod the gluten free Mac and cheese but also got side of garlic broccoli. My hubby got the lasagna and he said it was great! My sister friend got the taco salad and she really enjoyed it. Highly recommend this place. It’s always wonderful!
I am not a vegan by any stretch of the imagination, but I wanted to push myself out of what I’m used to and give it a try and I got that and then some. This food was really really good. I got the festival burrito and sautéed veggies spinach and kale. Loved the touch they added to the veggies, it was a lemon essence and it gave them such a pungent flavor that I enjoyed. Everyone here was so welcoming and friendly and super attentive. The best experience of all was over server, Alejandro. He truly made our experience worthwhile. When I travel to LA again, I’m definitely coming back.
You can get a pitcher of hard kombucha. As someone that resides in the south, this is a wild concept. As an omnivore, I was very impressed by the food being all plant based and such I went in critical. The butternut squash ravioli might actually be worth the price. It's good and comes with enough food to fill you up. The “bowl of soul” is a fun mixture of different textures and tastes. It also photographs well for the gram. And check out the sweet potato latte. It's purple, so probably made from purple sweet potatoes, or I got the wrong latte in which case the purple latte of unknown flavor is good. There's a parking lot which can be free. Although, some spots are two hour limit. There is also valet.
This spot has great vegan eats and delicious drinks! I especially loved the Buffalo cauliflower with ranch dressing.... very tasty!Food: 5/5
Tasty vegan spot in Culver City serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, cocktails, juices, and a large dog friendly outdoor seating area. Came here for breakfast and got coffee, a juice, and the breakfast bowl; all was super tasty, and a bit pricey. Their house made habanero hot sauce was super spicy
