Great food and drink selection! Service is also very good!
From one chef to another chef its nice to have a place right around the corner where I can take the wife out for a treat and have no complaints about food or service. The GM is extremely nice and they have a great atmosphere both customer wise and staff wise. You guys are Awesome! So far everything on the menu is great, Definitely try the chefs dumplings and the bartenders favorite drink :
I had a wonderful experience. Tatiana our waitress was an absolute sweetheart along with the owner Shane like everyone was so friendly Its such a laid back environment with good music playing. The food and drinks were so good. I really enjoyed the the mussels that were in the coconut broth so yummy
We ate the food here. Came with our neighbors, brought the kids. We liked the funkiness of the menu. The different options and the way to mix and match and add the sides. That was cool. We got the Mac and cheese balls, calamari and mussels. We were happy the Mac n cheese balls survived the previous joint and the sauce they came with was great. Same could be said for the calamari. The mussels tasted like urine, I don’t know exactly what urine tastes like but these taste like what urine smells like you’d imagine it tastes. Annoying grievance the tizers came out after a long period of timenew restaurant that’s cool but the main dishes came out like five minutes later. The table was full of food and we didn’t have time to chill or digest in between. The main courses and drinks were great. Happy customers all around in this department. We will be back.
Good atmosphere- walls are adorned with murals from local artists. I love that they have Blue Point Toasted Lager on tap. Had the short ribs- it was a little fatty for my taste. Broccoli had a strangely cheesy flavor. Not my favorite.
Loooove the Coconut Margarita, food was amazing and service was very good.. I definitely will go again..
Really nice opening week crew. We had a nice brunch. The opening weekend brisket bowl brunch option was not great, oddly sour, and the bacon and sausage were cheap tasting. Also, the side of fried rice was weirdly wet. Hopefully, they work out the kinks.
Good decor but food is basically flavorless. Anything that says “spicy”, will only be made spicy upon request. It has a nice Bar but if you want good seafood, I would suggest Hook N Reel. Service could have been better as well. Not coming back.
I’ve been here a few times before and those experiences were amazing, food, drinks and service. Each time I ordered the same apps. But on this night, 11-9, the food and service were terrible!! The waitress never came to fill our water or check on us. We ordered the pickle brined chicken strips that are advertised in the menu. One, they were extremely over cooked. Two, they tasted nothing like pickles. And three, they didn’t come with the few fried pickles. I told the waitress, she takes the over cooked chicken strips to the kitchen...comes back and tells us the pickle brined chicken strips are no longer offered because hey are not “family friendly” I’m not quite sure what that means. She never offered to take the strips off the bill. As we were leaving that same waitress was in a full blown arguement with another customer over a bill and chicken strips! I most likely will not be visiting this location ever again.
Very good dark and stormy with homemade ginger beer. The dessert was to die for. This is a small tiki bar in its early stages but I look forward to seeing it find its footing. Will definitely return to see how it is growing into its shell.
