My first visit to the store on 6/25/23 and WOW! The selection is awesome and the two men that were there that day were VERY nice and helpful. Being new to cigars they both were knowledgable and allowed me to ask basic questions without fear of embarrassment. They help me with suggestions and advice to improve my new hobby, Cigars! I highly recommend this store if you have not been there yet!

Sure, the Bonita Smoke Shop is excellent, and sure, they have a vast selection of cigars, and sure, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. But what really sets them apart is the patient way they help educate me about cigar smoking when I have any questions—never any condescending answers, the sign of true cigar aficionados.
Pleasantly surprised. I had been looking for a box of H. Upmann Legacy Churchill. I was finding them hard to find and came across Bonita Smoke Shop. I ordered a box but was told they were out of the Churchill and would I accept 2 boxes of the Limited Edition Toro instead. Since I was not having much luck finding them elsewhere I agreed to the substitution. I am new to premium cigars so was not sure what the Limited Edition Toro in a press box was. I thought it was the actual pressed cigars that have the squared look to them which I do not prefer. To my surprise I received 2 solid wood cigar press boxes. Very happy with my purchase and cigars taste amazing.
Excellent cigar collection Tried something g new and had the help of a young man who showed me exactly what I wanted based on preferences for a cigar. Aroma de Cuba... fantastic!
Used to go there on Saturday mornings and get my cigars and I was always treated well, before Christmas I went and bought some cigars for myself for the holidays and while I was there I also bought 2 e cigarettes for when I am working.when I opened up one of the e cigarettes it was a dud it didn’t work at all, I put it back in the original packaging and I put it away till the next time I was getting cigars, that was just after new years. So it was a Saturday morning I thought I would bring back the faulty e cigarette and get a cigar, when I got ready to check out I presented the defective one in the original package and advised that that one was defective. The guy behind the counter was not the usual guy who I have been talking to for years but he had a British accent, he then asked me if I had the receipt and that if I expected an exchange that I would need a receipt. I don’t think I have ever gotten a receipt from a cigar shop in my life he would not honor the faulty e cigarette without it. I set my cigar onto the counter and advised that I would never step foot into the place again! I don’t know who owns this place but I would hope it was not him. I was treated like I was trying to get over on him. Or was making it up. There’s other cigar shops that actually appreciate repeat customers. This was my experience and I will definitely not recommend!!
My dad likes a good cigar and I have zero knowledge about cigars. I've driven past this store many times going to Publix, but never went in. Wow was I impressed. What I thought would be a dingey, dark, smokey store was clean, bright, clean air and quite large. Pleasantly surprised! The man behind the counter was very helpful in helping me find a cigar that my dad would like that was in my budget. Plus the cigar boxes they sell are awesome! Beautiful. We use them for catch-alls for keys, wallet etc. I highly recommend this store.
I recently took an interest in cigars, this was the second place I went to buy some. I stopped in like 10 minutes before closing time, both gentlemen were very nice and helpful even though I told them I didn't want to take much of their time, they took their time anyway and helped me make a great choice of cigars. I went back two more times after that much earlier in the day, and each time, I spoke with someone different, all just as knowledgeable and helpful as the first two gentlemen I spoke with the first time. I'm headed back home to Ohio as I type this and am forever a customer, I'll be ordering from them online.
