Room was nice enough. Clean and stocked with towels and toiletries. Not very happy that in order to get a non smoking room you would be charged a $200 deposit. The view around was gorgeous. Ice was at the front desk which was a small hike up the hill and you had to ask them to fill your ice bucket from behind the counter. But they were cordial and seemed to have no problem with doing it. Very nice lady attending to the front desk. Fast and smiling and sweet. I will stay here again if given the opportunity.
Do not stay here!!!!! The manager is the nasties human being ever!!!! He wouldnt let me pay when my brother got paid at 5pm. He said I had to pay him 30 or 40 dollars before. I tried to tell him I didn't have any money because I had to buy a storage because we were forces to leave our.home! He screamed at me that he wasn't waiting until 5 or 6 I either paid now or I had to leave! I paid almost 100 dollars for this nasty room. I let my son crawl on the floor last night and within 5 mins he was covered in dirt. And there was a roche on the microwave! The beds are so hard and raggedy I didn't sleep at all. I have never been treated this way in my life. And for them to know they are putting children on the street!!!! The worst hospitality I've ever had in my life! I hope there are serious consequence for his actions.
Very old and outdated dirty carpet no heat in bathroom front desk employee had no customer service skills at all. Pretty much just take the money from you and gonr
This place is rude. First, the lady at the desk was rude when we checked in. Then we had an accident in the parking lot and the front desk lady took our room key and made us leave and refused to refund over 200$.
Was a very nice and clean room. My only issue is there should be a small coffee maker. I personally want coffee when I get up, not leave to get coffee. But hey for the price we drove down to the Cracker Barrel! Would definitely stay here again!
Room included 2 microwaves. You don't get that kind of power handed to you at the chain hotels.
It's nothing fancy. But it has free WiFi, DirectTV, microwaves and mini fridges in even the cheapest rooms. Beds aren't bad. It's quiet with nice staff that doesn't bother anyone. There is also a pool for Summertime.
When we got there had a hard time figuring out where the switch was to turn lights on. Finally found them by the bed on wall opposite of where door was. There was about 5 switches to work everything in room including bathroom. Then we couldn't figure out how to get tv to work so we had to have maintenance come and fix it. He had to switch HDMI cable to HDMI 2 port to get it to work. It worked last night then tried to watch it the next morning and it wouldn't work again so I pretty much gave up at that point. Could of been the weather affecting it cause it snowed last night but I don't know. My husband tried to take a hot shower last night but there was no hot water. He was pretty aggravated at that point. My husband told housekeeping about it the next morning and maintenance fixed it. Hopefully we will be able to take a hot shower tonight. Hopefully hot water lasts more then 5 mins. Good place to go to save money for nightly fee but other then that that's all I can say about it. Everyone was nice and pretty accommodating there tho.
It's a nice and quiet place with good service would be better if it had complementary breakfastRooms: 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. It is based on one night staying in Room 11. I booked through a hotel booking site and opted to pay upon arrival. Check-in is done through a window from outside the office. The staff was friendly and accommodating when I was given a 2nd floor room and then requested to get a 1st floor room instead. The Inn is an older property; however, Room 11 was well-kept with what appeared to be new carpet. It was surprisingly clean, and I had no qualms about walking barefoot in the room. The bathroom was clean and had a wrapper around the toilet seat to indicate that it had been cleaned. I always check the bed for bedbugs and noted that the mattress and boxspring were in encasements, both of which were clean and did not have any hair or nasty stuff on them. The bed was comfortable. There were adequate outlets for phone charging and courthouse who use a CPAP machine. Room amenities included a microwave and mini-fridge. There was no coffee pot or ice bucket. The A/C was nice and cold. I had an enjoyable stay and would be happy to stay here again.
