First time in Boston and leaving the airport! Flying into the airport were beautiful views of the East coast and ocean. Wow. It was beautiful and a new experience for me. Appears to be a spaciously clean space overlooking an amazing city skyscraper. Can’t wait to leave the airport and have some fun Heard there is a free shuttle that takes one to the downtown city.
Airport is busy most of times. departures are on upper side. Directions board are there but still missing at some places specifically for central parking. Cart facilities are there but not free. Restroom were cleaned. Cafe and newspaper shops are there. Happy journey all of you
It’s an airport. But, if you’re stuck here for hours, it’s huge and you can see all kinds of things. If you walk long enough you go from busy areas to quiet areas, all kinds of places to sit, all kinds of places to shop. The 7 hours flew by. Not really, but they were surprisingly tolerable and I walked three miles inside. If you’re going somewhere and you have no choice but to go to the airport in Boston, this is the airport in Boston, so you should totally go to it.
Amazing Infrastructure and planning. Airport is well maintained. Gotta appreciate Massachusetts state and federal government. Multiple Public transport options are available. Food options at airport are diverse.
Small but cozy airport. I especially liked watching him from the side. Every three minutes a plane takes off or lands... a beautiful sight! A strong roar of engines was heard and another plane rushed along the runway, and some passengers began to pray in the cabin
Certainly one of the better airports in the US, although the domestic termimal seems to require rennovation. The facilities and amenities were sufficient. Security check was pretty quick and well organized. The best part was the connectivity to the city. Perhaps the only airport i had visited that has free airport shittle across the city, and connected with the subway transit. Makes life so much convenient. I would certainly recommend it as a base airport if flying in from abroad to the eastern US.
Pretty busy place, but they do a reasonable job keeping it all moving. On the higher end for prices as food vendors in the terminal. Can be tricky to get in and out of if you are being dropped off by a private car.
First time here as we head over to the island of Terceira, Azores, Portugal. We landed here to connect from American Airlines to Azores Airlines. Allow yourself at least an hour or more to shuttle over to Terminal E, which is their International Terminal. Also, you'll have to go through security again as well. Allow yourself plenty of time again here... to arrive for your connection. Nice airport with lots of great food options inside. It is Boston after all
My experience in the airport was mostly bad. It was my first time in an American Airport. I'm not sure if it is just because I have not experience here but I think that it is weird that a full terminal was closed from 9pm-3am. And also there is no open restaurant neither a vending machine. I think that they should have more options for early flights, due to the fact that neither still water or food are available before 4.30 and also at this time you're only can buy something in Dunkin. It is true that they have some water sources but I think that they are not covid free.
I had a 9 hour layover and was too tired to leave the airport, so I spent my time smoking outside and hanging around. It was very easy to find the smoking corners and they were quite comfortable. Inside, the chairs were pretty accommodating. And then...... I found a foldable stretcher!!! I could actually lie down and get some sleep! I have never found that in any airport in the world. Hats off, Boston! The only thing missing in my opinion was a place to get coffee without going through security first.
