Came here last night for an early Valentine’s Day dinner and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in the area! The tasting menu is a great option and their portions don’t leave you hungry afterwards. The flavors were all amazing and I enjoyed every single plate we got. Highly recommend for anyone who’s looking for a cute date night spot or just good food in general. I’ll definitely be back as the menu uses fresh ingredients and changes seasonally.
We stopped in for dinner to test the menu for our wedding plans. Staff is helpful on picking out options from a well built menu that is limited to what's in season. Atmosphere is relaxed and you feel like you're able to have an actual conversation. All the dishes were good but the duck could have been a little more crispy IMO. If an espresso could be added after dinner that would be awesome. Overall it was a great experience and we can't wait to come back.
The restaurant sources their food as much locally as possible and the care they put into their dishes show. All our dishes were delicious, from presentation to taste. I would definitely recommend it for a special occasion. They get booked up so make reservations.Dine in: Yes
Tasting menu was an excellent choice. They bring 4 courses out with leisure time between each course. If you’re looking for a slow dinner pace with a wide pallet of flavors and delicious dishes, then this is the place for you. We got a board and shared a tasting menu and had plenty to eat. Wait staff was also phenomenal at explaining everything and making us feel comfortable
The food was fantastic for the price. Easily the best money for quality ratio of any restaurant in the area. [Note about photos: the food was so good we didn't manage to get any photos of the presentation before we dived in and missed the salmon entirely] Our server was super friendly and quickly changed up our wine pairings to best suit our tastes. She was attentive and asked for feedback at every step even though she was killing it. We had no notes other than to express how impressed we were. I was concerned upon presentation that the salmon dish was a bit contrived but the multiple elements worked together so well my partner and I were still talking about it on the way home. The use of mushrooms was a phenomenal perk for someone like me who is a big fan of foraging my own. Between the two of us we tried both the steak and duck mains and both of us agreed that it was some of the best food we'd had in recent memory. The chocolate croissant bread pudding was so good I thought my partner was going to cry no joke, it's really that good. I don't usually have much of a sweet tooth but was blown away by the perfume of the strawberry sorbet as it hit my tongue. Definitely would recommend springing for the cava pairing there. Portion sizes are larger than any tasting menu I've had before. Timing of dishes it's a scratch-made kitchen was exactly on point. We never felt rushed or ignored by the service. My only comment is that i would like to see the chef pull back a bit on the visual impact of the plating and just let the amazing ingredients shine. Features: Outdoor seating
Bouquet is very good. Cheese board was very well down and all pickled veggies made in house. Out of the 3 "firsts" - the salad was ok but nothing too special. The meatballs and potato dish are both 5-star and extremely well done! Out of the seconds, both the mushroom dish and scallop pasta were too rich for me, but the table liked them a lot. The sundae desert was good but the croissant took the win.
Great experience. We each ordered the tasting menu, which is four courses including dessert or a coffee or dessert cocktail. The portions were hefty, almost too big. I would have been more than satisfied with a third less food. But that’s not a bad thing, I’m just saying to come hungry. We started with the veggie skillet and the tomato salad. They were a great contrasting pair. The skillet was deep and rich and earthy. While the salad was bright and refreshing. A great start. Second we had the meatballs and the scallop pasta. The meatball were tender with an amazing and unexpected sauce that was spicy and tangy. The scallops were perfectly cooked with nice pasta and a wonderful sauce. Third we had the pork chop and the salmon. Pork was perfectly seasoned and cooked with wonderful apples and slaw. The salmon was rich and tasty. I had a glass of port for dessert and we split the peach sorbet. That sorbet was mind blowing. It had a brown sugar crumble and it was so rich and delicious. Tasted like creamy peach pie. I’ve never used the word “velvety” to describe food, but that’s was this sorbet was. So damn velvety. Service was friendly, fast, and knowledgeable, even providing me an extra treat for my birthday. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal.
Food was faultless, absolute delish. I love that they let you share their tasting menu, we ordered 3 tasting menus for a group of 6 and it was perfect and it allowed us to try almost everything on their menu. Also they do a really good old fashioned!
Our first time visiting 7.15.22, and it will definitely not be our last! Service from our waiter Beck was terrific, the French 519 cocktails were awesome, and the food was some of the best we have had anywhere. Highly recommend the charcuterie board, fresh catch halibut, and “baseball” cut steak. The preparation of each was unique and bursting with flavor!
I cannot speak more highly about this restaurant. I have wanted to go forever and finally made it with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. We did the food tasting menu with the wine pairing and it was AMAZING. The service was fantastic. The staff was friendly. If you get a chance to try the duck for the Third Course, I would highly recommend it. See the picture I definitely plan on going back in the future!
