Description

Family owned and operated since 1984 with live jazz Wednesday through Sunday. We specialize in Cajun and Creole, with steaks, fresh seafood, sandwiches, gumbo, soups and salads. Monday nights we feature half price wine and appetizers. Wednesday and Sundays it's all night happy hour at our bar. Check out our line of sauces at your local Krogers.

Our first time visiting Covington. This place is amazing. We had Leeza as a server and she was absolute perfection. I ordered the Cajun seafood pasta and it was outstanding. We also had the butter pie and all I can say is wow!
Our dinner was awesome as usual. We love Dee Felice Cafe and the staff. We enjoyed the Halibut tonight with Lobster Mashed Potatoes, Shrimp Cocktail and BLT Salads. Everything was delicious, thank you very much!!Food: 5/5
Enjoyed a wonderful Private Christmas buffet at Dee Felice. Multiple courses spaced out so we could enjoy the food and each other’s company. The food, music and holiday decor made the night perfect.
Great ambience. The best surprise was the piano player seated high above the bar. This is the type of place that won't let you leave hungry. Excellent service from the waitress. I wish I had more time to spend here.Recommended dishesCaesar Salad
We went to Dee felice for our wedding anniversary. My husband proposed here 34 years ago. The food was great as expected. The live music was exceptional. Service was great, our waitress was very attentive and didn't rush us. If I had a complaint there is only one. The ladies room was out of toilet paper and the garbage can was overflowing. But that did not keep us from enjoying our night.
I was really excited about coming here because the menu sounded fantastic along with reviews. Unfortunately, overall we were quite underwhelmed. The fried gator which is pictured was excellent, and best part about the experience. When we went to order our entrees- the catfish which is on the menu was not available. Okay it happens, whatever I get it. Then when the entrees came I had ordered the shrimp Po boy which then menu said had a spicy yogurt sauce. It had no sauce. Had to ask for it. Again not a huge deal. It was average tasting overall. Also, we had ordered a side of hushppies with our meals. By the time we got around to trying these, we realized although the outside looked beautiful- however, the inside were a uncooked raw batter. We didn't get a chance to complain because our server seemed to be busy with a couple new tables. It took a while for someone to finally come back so we could get boxes and our check. Expected a bit of a better experience overall especially for the prices. We also ordered some red beans and rice to go. They very much lacked flavor and needed salting.
Had a fantastic dinner Halibut Forte, highly recommend with my wife that was only enhanced by the incredible service. Gary went above and beyond in every capacity and made our random dinner out something memorable. We have already decided we will be back again and often, and always request to sit in Gary's section.

Dine in Dinner. This place is a MUST GO. One of the BEST Restaurants in the area. The food is great & the atmosphere is awesome. This is a place you want to dress up a little for and I would not bring kids. The tables are close together & very cosy. A Great place for a date.Food: 5/5
We are from SoFL and my brother in law took us to this restaurant last night. We absolutely loved it!!! Atmosphere is great. Service was awesome sorry about not remembering the waitress name. It was 6 of us and everyone said the food was amazing. I had the black bean soup and shrimp etouffee. Excellent!!! My husband had the gumbo soup and blackened catfish over etouffee. Both wonderful as well. The catfish was so fresh and not "fishy" at all. The band playing jazz was an excellent addition to the evening. I so wish we had one of these back home. I for sure would come back when in town. Definitely recommend!!
