The past reviews on this place do NOT do it justice. The new ownership has made this place the most welcoming and enjoyable place to stay. They keep the park kept up very neatly. Are always helping to answer your questions or address any concerns. Very dog/pet friendly! We go to the dog park at least two to three times a day. My dogs love it. We've been her over a month through winter... 5 Stars!
Me and my family have been staying at this KOA the past few summers and could not ask for any better manager and help at the front desk. One of the cleanest RV parks I've ever stayed at and love the location where it's at. They sure do know how to make you feel welcome and they have any kind of activity you are looking for when you are camping. Definitely recommend it!
I have nothing but great things to say about this KOA location. First of all, the staff and maintenance people are so friendly and helpful! The grounds are always very well kept and clean. The amenities really make this place lots of fun for the kids and the events they hold are so fun! We are really enjoying our stay.
Pleasant enough stay. Our electric-and-water-only site was less than level, but they were upfront about that in their description, and we're only 20' long, so it was fine. There's a definite difference between the less expensive sites and the high-end luxury sites, but that makes sense, too. Restrooms were aged, but fairly clean. Ample trash bin. Camp store had what you'd expect in stock in winter. Near the interstate, so you'll hear some traffic noise, but it didn't keep us awake. We'll be back when we pass through again.
This is the best KOA we have stayed at, since going full time RV'ing. The staff here went above and beyond to help us out. We had truck issues, and they arranged for us to stay longer and also made a place for us to store our trailer until we get done with our work assignment in Alabama. The sites are very nice all with patios and fire pits. Didn't use laundry, but looked clean, bathrooms and showers were clean. Just all around great campground. Highly recommend for fellow travelers.
This is a nice campground. We appreciated a little grassy area on the sites for our dog. The sites were spaced nicely, not too tight together. Our only complaint is the water in the showers continuously fluctuates from warm to cold and you have no control of the water temperature.
Too expensive for long term stay. An extended stay is actually cheaper if you have a huge camper. It's 750 a month plus .18 a kilowatt hour for electric which can cost over $1,000 a month for cooler months. As for the campground itself, it is beautiful and the people are nice and keep it up. Lots to do here and would be great for short term stays.
Will start off by saying the staff was very friendly check in and check out was a breeze. The pull though camp site was nice with full hookup, and fire pit, property was well kept, my son enjoyed the playground and jump pad, my 2 dogs enjoyed the dog park. There where a couple things that were not so good, the wifi was very slow, the pool look like it hadn't been open in years, game room was closed 2 major things that my son was excited about at the site and they were closed.
We loved this campground. It was kept very clean and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a good amount of shade around all sites and plenty of activities for kids. They have jumping pillow, cornhole, horseshoes, volleyball, and mini golf. It looked like their pool is still under construction hopefully they will have it ready for next summer because we will definitely be coming back.
This campground is neat and tidy, it is a very nice place with lots of amenities. My main complaint is that there was so much Kubota traffic by the maintenance workers running around and a leaf couldn't fall to the ground without a leaf blower being cranked up so it wasn't very peaceful at all. I understand that workers need to get around but maybe consider golf carts that are quieter. Like I said, I appreciate the tidiness but there needs to be a balance between that and some peace and quiet. Let a leaf fall to the ground every once in awhile.
