I would have given the place five stars the sites are spacious and the people in the park are very friendly. Only thing that brings it down is the two people managing the park. Office manager never answers the phone if you have a problem. She put my wife on hold for twenty minutes and then hung up on her. The park manager doesn’t maintain the pool witch you can see by the photo majority of the time it’s so cloudy you can barely see the bottom. The board of health actually came by and tested the water and shut it down in the time we were there because it was so bad.If you go to him and bring it to his attention you get an angry response. You get the feeling their doing you a favor letting you stay there. These two need to take a course in hospitality. Wilder needs to send these two packing
We lived on the road for 3 years now and we stopped at this one in between a couple of thousand Trails campgrounds we were going to. What a pleasant surprise. It's $40 a night to stay and we were here for a week but between the pleasant conversations with so many people in the park and how well it was kept along with the fact it was even quiet in the evening being not too far from highway 27 made this well worth every penny. Definitely a place if you're looking to stop for a week or even 6 months as many do. Just so many nice people and will kept Park. All the amenities you need from a big laundry facility to shuffleboard and other normal activities. And of course a very nice, clean warm pool.
Very nice RV park. The people are the friendliest and willing to help if needed. The sites are quite nice and roomy. Lots of activities, and groceries are only 5 miles away. Also everything else you might need like Walmart, Harbor Freight, Home Depot, ect ect. We stayed a month and really enjoyed the park. The power was a little iffy at times when everyone was using there air conditioning or electric. I use an autoformer so I didn’t have a problem but you should keep an eye on low voltage. The lowest I saw was 109 volts. There are fire ants but the management helped out with them. Might want to bring along a can of ant spray.
The park and our spot were maintained. The people were friendly and there were a lot of activities. We enjoyed the morning church service there at the park. They have a pool which is nice but not well maintained. I went twice in the month we were there. The water was murky and I was told that it got cleaned in e a week. So I didn’t go back. It wasn’t as unkempt or tight fitting as some of the reviews said.
Super friendly and helpful! Been there 3 times and will be back! Quiet, clean park, with a small but nice pool
If I could give the new management they hired for this place a double zero I would. They're absolutely horrible!!! I use to enjoy living in this park and had friends here. They have absolutely ruined the culture of this once beautiful place. They threatened the people who live there if they didn't stop complaining about being prisioners in their own homes they would evict them. They have set so many rules it seems like a detention center. The palm trees at the entrance took away that homey country inviting feel and why on earth would you put shell rock and red and blue and green spot lights? We are not at the beach, we are under oak trees and by the river. People have been forced to sell their sheds because management don't like them, residents mostly have multiple vehicles and golf carts that they have been able to park on their grass and the sides of the street for over 30 years and now they aren't allowed to. This use to be the most joyful place in Hardee but now Torrey Trails is and has all the business. These managers need to be fired and the culture now needs to be fixed or this place will be gone in a few years. I also find it bizarre that most of the 5 star reviews are at the same time.
The staff and residents were amazing. We liked it so much that we are going back again the end of the month.
It was hands down the best RV park we've ever had the privilege to stay at during our 3 years on the road full-time traveling the country.. It's well groomed, clean and very friendly staff... And the residents are very friendly and make you feel very welcome.. We made a few friends during our stay and God willing, we'll be returning next winter. Most of the residents have one or more dogs but you never see them chained outside for hours unattended and you definitely don't hear them barking or carrying on when left alone, it was amazing.. It's so peaceful and quiet. There's a pool , laundry room, showers and plenty of other amenities... It's well worth it!! Can't say enough good things about this RV park...
One of our favorite RV parks. They have tons of amenities to choose from. The staff and residents are really friendly. They also have plenty of events on the calendar to attend. Really well maintained..
This area was so clean it took me by surprise. I liked the atmosphere I felt when coming about this place and for the two people I met there I also loved the people. Two thumbs up.
