Welcome to Brad Wilson's Fitness and Self-Defense page. I am passionate about helping people reach their fitness goals and would love to be your Fitness Trainer. I have over 10 years of weight training experience, and 8 years of various forms of self defense. Here is a little bit about me:
From a young age, I was fascinated with martial arts and self-defense. I watched martial art movies as often as possible, and studied Judo and Karate. To this day, I am equally fascinated with unarmed combat, and constantly strive to learn new techniques through instructional videos and individualized training.
I served as a Master at Arms in the US Navy for 6 years and was Honorably Discharged in 2010. In 2011, I began studying Shaolin Kempo. Within 2 years, I quickly advanced to Purple Belt (the 4th rank). Unfortunately, our facility closed when I was up for a 5th belt promotion, and I was unable to continue training.
In 2014, I earned my Fitness Specialist Certificate, while working towards an Associates in Physical Education. I worked as an intern with Pilates Plus in San Diego, under the guidance of Pilates Master/Kinesiologist Brett Caslavka.
Shortly after starting a family and relocating to Temecula in 2015, I began training at Dan Henderson's Athletic Center. I currently focus on Brazilian Ji-Jitsu and Cage Tactics.
I am confident in my abilities as a personal trainer and health coach, mainly because I never stop learning new material. I have years of experience coaching friends and family, and helping them reach their fitness and nutrition goals. I am confident I can do the same for you.
