It seems at first strange to submit a review for a funeral home given the circumstance, but it is totally, positively warranted in this case. Tender, sincere, compassionate, tasteful, and caring are all attributes you wish for and need from a funeral home and its director during a time of grief. Tripp Carter embodied all of these effortlessly and helped us navigate our father’s passing with love amidst the sadness. Again, to comment on a funeral home’s decor and ambience may appear unseemly and shallow, but the environs of Bradshaw Carter were warm, homey, peaceful, and beautiful—and as these images and senses are indelible imprints on your memory, you would want nothing less. Tripp embraces his calling and it’s authentic.
Exceptional Service - As a floral business owner, I deliver to many funeral homes, Bradshaw-Carter is simply the best! Tripp, Raymond and the entire team were kind, welcoming and very helpful. I attended a memorial service as well - It was one of the most beautiful and peaceful services I've experienced.
There are not enough kind words to describe the the experience we had with Bradshaw-Carter. Clay was so warm and professional and helped our family feel at ease. They were so accommodating with all of our requests. We never felt rushed or pressured at all. You really appreciate the individual, bespoke service you receive here; so different than your typical "Big Box" funeral home. After a very disappointing experience with some of our loved one's medical doctors, it was such a relief to find ourselves so cared for. Thank you so much.
The Bradshaw-Carter Funeral Home treated all of us as family. Their beautiful home situated in Montrose was able to accommodate our large guest list comfortably. The service was facilitated with beauty and grace. Special requests were achieved harmoniously. The staff is fully aware that this moment in time is hardest on the loved ones and did everything to lighten the burden. I would certainly say that the experience working with Bradshaw-Carter was outstanding.
Tripp and all the folks at Bradshaw-Carter were great to work with. I am out of state and they all stepped up for my family under very difficult circumstances. There are not enough words to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Bradshaw-Carter. My mother recently passed away, it was sudden, unexpected, and a tragic ending to her life. I was distraught, paralyzed with grief and lost. I have never planned a funeral before and certainly never imagined planning my mother's. I had a short-time to do it. Tripp Carter is the most loving, caring, and supportive. I could not have done it without him. We made all the arrangement in one day. He is so easy to work with it. It was the most beautiful service, and burial. Tripp and his team Suzy & Clay helped with every detail obituary, video, flowers, service, rosary, reception, cemetery burial. My mom wanted a Catholic priest, they made it happen with Father Torres who is dynamic uplifting and amazing. He has continued to stay in touch with me and offer support. Bradshaw Carter provided amazing service for the burial of my mother. She passed sooner than expected, and I was at a loss for where to even start. Their calm demeanor and guidance - from how to have her collected, where to send her, the options for what to do, etc., were so helpful in making decisions. Not to mention the beauty of comfort of their space and the services provided during the viewing. In our case, my mother had very particular desires about how to handle her remains, and they were fully accommodating. She also wanted to be buried in a family plot several hundred miles away - and Bradshaw Carter was able to handle all of the coordination for transport, etc. with ease. I could not be happier with the service and value provided for all of their assistance, despite the sad situation requiring me to use them. Would give more than 5 stars if possible! I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for the caring and compassionate staff at Bradshaw-Carter Memorial and Funeral Services. Going through the death of a loved one is incredibly difficult and they do their very best to walk with you side by side in navigating your needs throughout the entire process. From the team who came to pick up my loved one, to working with Tripp Carter on our needs for the memorial service, to the lovely team who gently kept me on task as I planned the service. I felt completely held and listened to and cared for. Furthermore, because they have a crematorium within their location they were able to manage all the steps with ease which is really helpful for reasons that I didn't understand until now. The service itself was exquisite and their facility is absolutely gorgeous. We opted for some light catering which was lovely, the service was livestreamed for those who could not travel to attend the service which was so meaningful and thoughtful, the photo slide show was beautifully edited, the musician that they provided even learned the song "Blackbird" by the Beatles for the services which is very difficult to play on the guitar and even the valets were super helpful and kind. I am beyond grateful to Tripp and Clay who made the memorial seamless. I was so proud to have such a wonderful celebration of life at their beautiful facility. I am sure that my loved one would have been pleased. I cannot recommend their services more highly. With all of the difficulty of losing someone that you love theirs is a bright spot of kindness and beauty.
I recently used Bradshaw-Carter for their cremation services and had an extremely positive experience. Mr. Carter was very gentle and compassionate, while at the same time being very open and thorough about the cremation process and all of the logistics surrounding the funeral business, which is a delicate and difficult balance to achieve when dealing with people in mourning, however, he did it well. Mr. Carter was very professional and respectful of my wishes, and was able to answer all of my many questions with ease, and never made me feel like I couldn’t spend all day asking him questions if necessary. The Bradshaw-Carter team did an incredible job at preparing my mother for my private visitation prior to her cremation. She looked beautiful. Upon seeing her, feelings of apprehension immediately turned into feelings of happiness, which in turn led to me having a very positive final experience with my mother. While I personally didn’t have a public viewing or any kind of memorial service at Bradshaw-Carter, I still feel it necessary to speak on the beauty of the interior design of the establishment itself. I think it would be a lovely place to do so for your loved one, the feel and look of the place is outstanding. I only have good things to say about Bradshaw-Carter. They performed the duties of a funeral home with promptness, kindness, respect, and elegance, and managed to alleviate a great deal of my stress during a tragic time. If you are in the Houston area, I think you would be making a mistake if you went anywhere else for your funeral needs.
