I went in recently to see if they could disable the touch settings because my laptop had ghost-touch. It wasn't a quick fix because you are constantly fighting the screen and cursor to do what you want it to do. I appreciate the time Anna took to fix it and now my laptop works just fine.
Anna did an amazing job fixing my computer and then repairing a manufacturing defect that occured. Will definitely return and recommend
Don't go, there is a reason half the reviews are 1 star and have a very long story to them. One of these long stories is almost exactly what I experienced. Just don't go. Please trust us.
DO NOT GO AT ALL COSTS. These people will do more harm than good. Not only is the staff incredibly rude but they really will not help you. I went in for a battery issue. Left with a broken mouse track pad. After asking them to fix it they said it was fixed even though it was not. Picked up my damaged computer so no more damage could be done.
I can not stress this enough, absolutely do not take your computer here!! I didn't read the reviews before I took in my extremely expensive gaming desktop, but I wish I had now. Unlike the comments, Anna wasn't rude to me. She was extremely nice, so part of me feels bad about writing this review. However nice doesn't fix the issue. My gaming PC has some type of issue with the Motherboard, and was shutting itself down after a few minutes of running. I replaced all the other parts, but motherboard is outside my expertise so I brought it in. Short version, my computer was in the shop nearly 5 weeks. Everytime I called it was this excuse or that. Couldnt find the part, I said to replace the whole motherboard, couldnt find that either. I said lets just upgrade the entire thing. She ordered a new motherboard, took two weeks shipping, finally arrived and she said she ordered the wrong one and its not compatible. So at this point I opted to pick up my PC as still wasnt aware of exactly what the issue was other than the same information I thought before, Motherboard issue. Had that been it, I wouldnt be writing this review... not happy, but understand. What pushed me over is that my computer case has scratches all over it that wasn't on it before I brought it in. And in addition it will not turn on at all now, literally nothing happens when hitting the button. I opened the case, now fortunately when I took it in I took pictures of everything. THE CORDS ARE LITERALLY NOT EVEN PLUGGED IN HOW THEY WERE. Cords are plugged into different slots than when it was taken in which is what I suspect is why it wont turn on. So now I get to find another computer shop to fix the mess that happened here. Very unhappy customer. UPDATE: I ended up taking my computer somewhere else and it was as I expected. The computer wires were not plugged back up correctly which is why it wasn’t turning on. He said they redid it and it’s turning on just fine. The reason for the computer shutting down was a bad water cooler. Absolutely nothing to do with the motherboard that they were having me replace. So the repair was less than 1/5th of what she was trying to charge and if I had done the entire motherboard like she stated it wouldn’t have even fixed the issue. Oo, the other repair shot did all the within 2 hours.
The owner, Anna, told me the problem was one thing; she ordered a new processor had the computer for several days after she received the part. When I went in to pick it up she acted like it would be ready the following day, the following day came and went and I did not get it until the next day when she still did not know what the problem was and charged me $ 55 diagnostic, fed me a line of BS, and still has no idea what the problem is. I strongly encourage you to take your computers and electronics elsewhere; I would never take anything here again. They had my computer for weeks and were never able to tell me what was wrong with it and still had the gall to charge me. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. UPDATE: I filed a complaint with the BBB and owner just lied to them in response, no resolution. Do not waste your time and money—you will waste extra days and days if you do not pay for her expedited service
Great experience throughout a lengthy repair on my older Asus laptop. Anna was able to track down hard to find parts and was very communicative throughout the process.
Needed 6 mother board risers. No one in town stocks them. They sold me some of there personal supply. FOR CHEAP!!! Nice folks.
Well I hope with any small business there are issues that can easily be resolved. Unfortunately this may not be the case. I took a laptop to them in mid-march for a hinge issue and a camera issue. At first they seemed very reasonable and responsible. They said it was going to be 200 to 400 to repair the hinge and re-seat the wires in the camera. That seemed very reasonable to me, and I enjoy using small business. Well I went to pick up the laptop, and the hinge was fixed and the camera, well not so much. Minor things that could be corrected. Upon getting my laptop she said she broke my screen to my laptop and that she would pay for a new one to get fixed. I said no problem I understand these things happen. .... well 2 months later my screen is still not fixed, and the camera is not working. 2 months of me needing the laptop for online test that have to be proctored. I have already paid them half 200 of the 400. She told me that she can not find a replacement screen for my lap top that everyone is pout of stock. I went to the Asus website and found my screen in 5 minutes. The reason why she hasn't fixed it is because she broke it and my new screen runs 400 dollars. So I am hoping she makes this right still, because I have already paid half and she did break my screen. If not well I have no problem taking people to small claims court.
They had my laptop for 3 weeks was told it would only take one. They scratched my computer lid and didn’t offer me a discount because they did. And on top of all that I get my Laptop back and now after 2 days it won’t turn on. : very disappointed with how this turned out.
