They have a wide selection of different German pastries and baked goods. My favorite is “roll 3” with ham, salami, and provolone for breakfast on the weekend with my family. Also a big hit is Berliner and Latte Macchiato.
Quality ingredients at first smell, and couldn't wait to taste as you can see from the photo did not disappoint. Fresh, flakey 100% how bakery products should be. Their Berliner doughnut delicious ate it not in picture ! Their bread roll like no other fresh bread I've tasted recently. Their other items all worth the calories! Will definitely be back, this will be my go to place when need to take baked goods to an event, or to share with someone special!
Fantastic authentic German cuisine. The bratwurst with sauerkraut was amazing. I recommend the spicy mustard with it. The staff were so kind, caring, and attentive. They made us feel truly welcome. I highly recommend Bread Pete!
I share a secret with you….The Germans love pastry more than the French ! Get the apple pastry, really get two or more because they are so delicious you might weep if you only get one. Everything is as flaky, crispy, crunchy, delicious as a fairy tale. I’ll tell you another secret…they roast and grind there own coffee on premise, its like a hot mug of heaven. Skip Dunkin, go to Pete’s.
Great place if you're up for some German style bread. Loved the pretzel buns. And the almond and chocolate croissants are really good....
German meat loaf with egg, amazing. Taylor ham on kaiser..fantastic and a bacon, cheese croissant. The pastries go fast, the ones we had were still so tasty. Just a little strip mall shop. But my recommendation is definitely go there!
Pete is wonderful, as well as his staff. They execute delicious fresh baked items, delicious breakfast and lunch. Always a pleasure! One of the busiest places in Cape, keep it up mein Freund! :
Love this place. Reminds me of back home. A little taste of Germany . Broetchen are very good and so are the Laugenstangen. Breakfast is simple yet tastes great. Definitely a must try if you like German food!
