This place is wonderful. Laurie, owner of the bar and grill was so friendly and the food is really good. Everything was served hot and delicious. Our bartender was super sweet. The gals in the store are very sociable and make you feel so welcome. There is a ton of stuff for adults and children to stay busy. The band, Ryder performed. They ROCKED! There is so much room to ride bikes. The roads are good. We were really impressed. Our site was big, really nice trees. FHU worked great.
Large wooded pull-through sites, good water pressure, updated electrical, cable, 3 pools, restaurant, camp store, beautiful scenery, AND LAKE ONTARIO - a beach paradise!! We are full-time RV’ers. We have never seen such a wonderful staff! Beautiful places, excellent amenities yes - but the staff here are extraordinary, on duty even after office hours. They graciously enforce quiet time!!!!! Yeah!!!!!
I loved this location. We got a beach site for a week and we could not have been happier. You’ll need to get a golf cart to get around unless you don’t mind walking to the pool etc . We rented from a 3rd party that came out to deliver. Pretty hefty price but worth it the pools were clean, no problem with the arcade like others mentioned. There are plenty of options to eat if you don’t feel like grilling. We are at the restaurant twice, it was ok. If you’re with kids, pay attention to the kids menu- it’s not fresh food meaning microwaved burgers, frozen Pizza but the other food was good. We also had breakfast at the food truck by the beach and that was good too. Free coffee refills which are great for me! The beach is rough on the feet so bring water shoes. We had a good time overall. Noteworthy details: Rv site
This is not a place for babies or children with a bed time. I’m not sure if they even have quiet hours because people are yelling and blasting extremely loud music past midnight. It’s a very busy place with traffic going all night long. The amount of traffic late at night is like nothing we’ve ever seen at a campground. There was a woman in the group next to us who shouted and whooped at every person who went by and with a four month old trying to sleep it was a very anxiety ridden weekend. Staff don’t tell people to keep quiet late at night. It’s just a party scene so if that’s what you’re looking for or your child free you may not mind. The campground itself is very nice. Seasonal sites are really cute and there are lots of amenities and the beach is nice. But as camping is supposed to be a relaxing time away, quiet hours should be observed and enforced.
Where we were the roads were tight and the sites seemed difficult to get into because of the pad, depending on the length of your trailer. There was an electric issue in the section we were in a guest who was an electrician pointed it out to the camp ground. They moved and nothing was done about it. We did not experience the issue until a bus pulled in next to us. It was hot and we were unable to use our AC the same time they did. Staff was awesome and it's a large park, definitely need to rent a golf cart. The on-site bar/restaurant had good food and service was good. Camp store has almost anything you need. Upper pool cold and no tables to sit at. Lower pool seemed heated and could of used more tables and chairs. Also umbrellas were not abundant and most were broke.
One of the worst customer services I have ever experienced. The employees at the front desk are just rude. We rented a deluxe cabin on the bluff and it was suppose to have a pull-out couch and didn’t. We needed the pull out couch for our stay, and we didn’t get what we payed for and we were just ignored and treated poorly when asked for help. I called and was told I would get called back and never did. I was respectable, patient and never raised my voice and Evelyn at the front desk HUNG UP on me. The first night we only had 4 staying but have two young kids and wanted them to have the two rooms and me and my husband wanted to stay on the pull out couch. When I called to explain all they cared about was how many people were staying. I payed for the cabin with the pull out couch, I don’t care if it was just me and it was missing, it’s something I paid for. I was told I’d get a call back and never did. The next day I had my mother down on the reservation, my father ended up coming with her, he went to the front desk and told them he would be there for the night too and they got him checked in no problem at the time but now they’re trying to use it against me to not help with any type of compensation saying I had more people then on the original reservation. We did the right thing and had the extra person go to the office. The people at the front desk are horribly rude and take no responsibility for their mistakes.
The office staff are some of the rudest people I have ever met. I don't say this lightly. They do nothing to keep their webpages up to date. Restaurant closed even though the website said they were open. It was like a prison. Every where I looked there was an employee or a sign telling me what I CAN'T DO!!! Just a depressing experience.Rooms: 3/5
I do hope management sees this. We are still in the park. So far, everything has been great. The staff are very friendly. Mr Detor, is great with the kids and even did the dirty work when my kids needed a time out on our 1st day. I wish they listened to me so well. We are on site Z3. It's fairly level. Front to back, no problem. We're sitting about 4-6 degrees down on the mechanicals side of the trailer. It seems the one uphill from us z4 I believe has the same issue. The previous people on that site seemed to get level with an 8' 2x6 under the driver side wheels. We would be pretty close with the same. All in all, pretty easy setup. There are a ton of "permanent" residents here with some pretty cool setups. Fun to walk and check them out. Especially at night. Lots are lit up and have great "back yard" setups. Some are amazing and elaborate. The hub of the park, the rec center area, is very nice and centralized. Arcade, ice cream, camp store, dining area, and adult pool AND a kids pool. Athletic fields. Concerts, crafts, and other events. They even have a small restaurant on premises at the beach. I haven't had a chance to eat there yet, but I'm hoping to try it out. If I can make one recommendation, and it really has nothing to do.with the park....bring your groceries as much as you can. The local grocery stores are beyond overpriced. RV supplies are hard to come by unless you want to drive 45 minutes to cicero and back. You may find some things in Oswego too. Still, a drive. If you fish, there are plenty of places nearby to buy that stuff. Give them your business. Deatons Ace are also pretty friendly, but suffer a bit from Pulaski pricing as I'm calling it. Definitely recommend this park. You'll have a great time.
Nice site for my class c rv, ground uneven but easy to level out my rig. Good power and good water. Good time for adults and children alike. I will come back. Walkability: Close enough for a healthy walk
They gave me a hard time about selling. Said I had to change canopy then took a month to approve it then I had one month to sell and told me if I didn’t sell then I would need to pull it out by closing. They charged me $36 for some reason when leaving and never told me or called me but sent me to collection. Must be hurting for money if you need $36 bucks.
