Very nice RV park more like a community Two resurants in the park, one of them has a full bar, with pretty good beers on tap! Ridiculously large library. Cool arcade. Sites were nice, decently level. We had a pull through and it was pretty easy to get into. Lots of events each weekend that were fun to check out. Beach was nice and clean. Only negative was the trash situation. Only 1 trash deposit and it's all the way at the front. We do not have a golf cart, so it was either walk 0.5 miles or start the truck and drive it up there.
We drove over an hour to look at the campground and a unit listed for sale. We went to the office to get a pass and the guy at the desk said we couldn’t look at the property on weekends because they are too busy. I explained that we work during the week and the only time we have to look at properties is on the weekend. I also explained we drove over an hour. He stated we should have called first. How would we know to call first? He was rude and unsympathetic of our time. Also, if we are investing in the property we want to see the operation on the weekend. I do not recommend this campground. It doesn’t appear to be a very customer friendly atmosphere. My money will go somewhere else.
Went for "Halloween" and the whole campground dressed up and handed out candy to the kids and jello shots to adults. Afterward a live band played at the Pavilion. Good time.
My husband & I stopped in to see if there were any available spots for the night. 3 employees chatting & not one acknowledged me. Whe. I asked about a site for the night one woman rolled her eyes at me. Needless to say I walked out & will never go back
I didn’t exactly love this place. It was mostly disappointing. When we first arrived, there were some weird figurines on our picnic table. Underneath one of them said p*nis….which my daughter pointed out. Smh. The beach is ok, but there’s a huge power plantor something across the lake that looks like the nuclear plant on the Simpsons. When you first arrive there’s a waste treatment plant….thankfully our spot was further away from it. Unfortunately, you have to pass by it to get to all the activities. There is CONSTANT traffic because everyone has a golf cart. Makes it difficult to ride bikes or walk because even though there is supposed to be a speed limit, golf carts do not follow it. There are numerous seasonals that were a bit rude. They don’t seem to like “outsiders”. But there were some others that were very friendly. The arcade is a huge waste of money. You have to put money on a card to play anything. Games are $3 or more. You cannot get your money back from the card. When a game malfunctions, there’s no one around to help or reimburse you. The craft show & car show were really great. My kids did enjoy the movie setup. You get zero reception so you have no choice but to pay for wifi if you want to be able to contact others in your group. Quite annoying to find out after you pay that the wifi barely works! You also have to stay right next to your RV, so it defeats the purpose of getting it. Also, you have to call to get wifi. You cannot purchase it at check-in or use cash. You will need a credit card. RV spots are very tight & close together. You get zero privacy. Everyone in our group was sent a text asking us turn some things off because their setup couldn’t handle everyone running electric. This is why it’s always good to have a surge protector.
Have been coming to Brennan for 42 years. Many changes some good some not so good. Weekends are busy, many activities for adults. There is a arcade for kids, new play ground, tennis courtsrough,a new restaurant and full bar. Many offerings for all interests. On lake Ontario, stony beach but swimming is nice. Lake charter fishing is outstanding.
I have to admit that pulling into a 1300 space RV park was a bit intimidating at first, but the layout where we ended up n2 was extremely easy to access and navigate for set up. The concrete pad in the middle of the site was perfect! Everything was clean and well maintained at the sites and hookups were in good condition. Overall the place was excelent; pools were clean and not too crowded, camp store well stocked and not ridiculously priced, internet strong and affordable, bathrooms/showers clean and placed conveniently. The only disappointment came to water access. The ponds were not really accessible for much and the beach was a bit underwhelming.
Rented a place for the 4th of July with spectacular views from our porch. Walking distance to the beach and other amenities such as an activity center for kids, arcade, store, restaraunt, pools, playground and basketball courts. They have live music on certain nights as well as other events. You can rent golf carts too if walking isn't your thing.
This place is really impressive, is really big, they have everything, bar, restaurant, pool, beach, playground, etc. Unfortunately the beach is not sandy, so is hard to walk. But the sunsets are just perfect. We stayed in one of the spots close to the beach, but unfortunately the trees on that area release some kind of flowers that fly al over and they produce eachy and sometimes is difficult to breathe. Yes I Know, I sound like one of that pain on both persons, but believe me, I am not, we try as much as we can to enjoy this spot, but unfortunately it was really difficult. I don't know if this flowers are seasonal but the next time I definitely will pick a spot away from the beach.
Nice campground. A lot of sites. Nice store & amenities. Love the beach.
