Super fun store. So many options. Legos in general everywhere are expensive, but if you're willing to spend some money, this is a great option to do so. Owner is great. One staff wasn't necessarily mindful of his conversation in front of kids, talking about Kevin Costner in an adult film while kid and I looked around. It was funny how he didn't realize that the owner was trying to get his attention to stop. That was the only *weird moment I've had there over dozens of trips. Highly recommend this to everyone! Just beware that non-owner staff may not have the most dialed in social skills.
They sell Suspish stickers! This is one of the best stocked extremely organized Lego stores I’ve ever seen. It’s quiet amazing. The prices seem a little high, but I haven’t collected Legos in many years. So that might be normal. I’d recommend stopping in to see the amazing collections and variety. There are some amazing sets now days and this store does a phenomenal job of displaying them. Staff also very friendly and down to earth. Easy to talk to.
I went into this store not really knowing how to start my partners present and Otter literally saved the day. Not only did he take the time to really help put together something unique and special for him but he was super knowledgeable on how to get what I had pictured to work. Will definitely be coming back!
Thought I got ripped off at first, but after looking at my email receipt, I realized I was wrong and after counting 116 pieces; 5 wasn't a bad price at all. I was the mini figs that threw me a curve ball the human brain sometimes
Are you an avid Lego builder? Brick Builders is a great place for you. They have a good variety of new and used Lego sets. They also have a large selection of individual bricks and quite a lot of mini figures. If you are working on a project, It is an excellent resource for the pieces you are looking for. The people working there are very helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Legos. The best part about this store is that you can get what you need from a local business right here in Eugene.
It is difficult to put into words how amazing this store is. Ammon and Otter are incredible - patient, kind, and ridiculously knowledgeable. Their nerdom extends beyond the world of Lego as well, as can be seen in their beautiful, intricate custom creations in themes like Star Wars, LOTR etc that are on display in the shop. They became my first two friends when I arrived in Eugene for grad school; they were welcoming and happy to geek out with me all afternoon about Lego history. During the holidays, they spent countless hours sculpting my dogs out of Lego as a gift to my girlfriend for Christmas. If you're looking for a unique present, I highly recommend the dog sculptures or any Lego sculpture, they were a huge hit. They have an amazing selection of current, recent, and vintage sets available for kids and AFOLs alike. I think the coolest feature of Brick Builders is that any sets you don't see on display or in boxes, they can construct for you out of the millions literally pieces they have sorted and in stock. Looking for a specific minifigure? There are thousands to choose from. Looking to buy bulk pieces by the pound or particular components for a MOC? They have any piece you could want. They have tables, chairs, and couches so you can work on a project in the store, which is super convenient but dangerous for the wallet. Have some Lego you are looking to offload? They do trades, store credit, cash or they accept donations. I am jealous I didn't grow up in Eugene because Brick Builders also throws amazing parties for kids with build competitions, trivia and prizes. It's a great spot for kids because they can interact with everything - you wont see any 'no touching' signs here. They also run fun monthly build competitions for the community for prizes. The winners get their sets displayed in the store. You can find the Brick Builder team at all the regional conventions, but I highly suggest stopping by the store since its so conveniently located. The only thing that could make this store more epic is if the space was 1Ok square feet, which they could fill with ease. Its fun to see all the different types customers in the shops: older folks reliving their childhood, parents passing on the joy of building to the next generation, and wide-eyed children who can't believe what they are looking at.
This store is a dreamland for LEGO lovers. The two guys who run the place are really knowledgeable, helpful & friendly master builders. They have a huge selection of bricks, mini-figs, new & used sets, and a "museum" of unique and award-winning creations. I was totally blown away. It's a must-see!
Very very highly recommended store. Anything you can need for Lego will be there. The customer service is some of the best I've ever had at a store, you feel valued as a customer. I always leave feeling positive and happy with my purchases. Also the knowledge on how to build Lego sets from just an image is possible here which is invaluable. For birthday parties and Lego events. This is surely the place to go!
I absolutely love this place! If you are looking for almost anything Lego, this is the place! They always have great sets in stock, and a bulk table that inevitably has a few surprises for those with a sharp eye! The guys here know more about Lego than you can imagine, and are always happy to talk about builds and projects! One warning, be prepared to spend longer than you think you will, because there is so much to see in their displays! I really can't recommend this place too much! =^.^=
Amazing store. My kids love it. It's really the best place if you are looking for individual pieces, specialty minifigs, or bulk prices. Their complete sets are a little above retail or ebay but not unreasonable. The staff is friendly, hood with kids, and knowledgeable. I go here at least once a month.
