Very good Northern Italian / Tuscan restaurant. Excellent service at a fantastic, highly aesthetic setting. Well done!
The Cod and salad were yummy. Great drinks!
I've never eaten at this restaurant before and have been eager to try it because when I ride by at night it's packed with people. The atmosphere and decor reminded me of the Cheesecake Factory and I thought for a moment they were part of the same hospitality company. They're not. Surprisingly, the prices weren't as high as I thought, but my meal was simply, average. I ordered Roasted Vegetables and Whole Grain Spaghetti. The portion was small compared to other other meals at my table. It was probably the healthiest pasta item one can order. A friend ordered eggs that came with potatoes. He encouraged me to eat them but after one bite, forget it! They were cold and soft. You do get a basket of bread while you're waiting for your food and the service was excellent. If I were to go again, I'll order a salad because it looked like it had fresh ingredients and a nice portion size.
Excellent service on a busy Friday evening. Even though we were seated at their busiest hour, we were well attended to by courteous and professional staff. The decor was nice and the atmosphere a healthy busy but still upscale. The prices were quite reasonable for the location. The food was, well I'm afraid I have to say it was somewhat stereotypically over-seasoned American-Italian. Why do so many chefs think American's think we need to over-salted and spiced food that lacks any subtlety? The ingredients, prep and presentation were all commensurate with my expectation. If they can get their seasoning balanced I'd rank the food one full star higher.
Wow! I am beyond blown away by this place! I had my bridal shower here this past weekend and the food, drinks, service was just incredible! Everyone keeps talking about how amazing the food was! Normally if you do family style or buffet the food is average, nothing special, the food was absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough great things about this place, I would 100% recommend and I definitely recommend for bridal shower/baby shower/graduation parties! Thanks for a great day, Brio!
Excellent Italian experience. The layout and decor, although somewhat contrived as a chain, feels opulent without being overwhelming. The menu had a wide variety from salad and soups through main courses. I had a fresh and tangy caprese, my father a rich and creamy mushroom soup. His salmon was perfectly cooked and pleasantly situated on mashed potatoes with grilled vegetables. I chose a lightly fried cod over angel hair which was surprisingly complex and finished in its flavors. Service was pleasant and encouraging. This is definitely a family type of restaurant that has the finesse of a much fancier place. A decided "keeper"
Over all my family and I liked Brio. The goods - - the food was good. I had the a la vodka and it was delicious. I wanted to try the pesto dish, but I love a la vodka. I didn't have the fish but it look very good my sister and my wife ate all of theirs. - The restaurant has a nice look to it. Tall ceilings with a good ambiance. I think it would be really nice for a special occasion, big group get together, or birthday. - Our waitress was extremely friendly. She was busy between tables, but she was never gone for too long. She offered advice on meals and had no issue with customizing dishes a little. - Substitutions and additions were done without any extra charge. I changed out the bacon in my a la vodka for chicken, no problem. My daughters pizza with broccoli added, no problem. The Bad - - No low price options. I think the prices for meals range from $17-$35. There are no inexpensive options. - The portion sizes are good for some meals, but mine I thought was about 2/3rds the size it should have been. I left me satisfied, but I kept thinking there should be a few more bites. - This might just be me, but I didn't care for the bread at the table. It was either sour dough, or this dry crispy thin bread that was to spicy for an initial bread on the table before the meal. A good and a bad - - They have some very nice kid menu options. For only $5-$8 you can get a large piece of grilled salmon with vegetables or a good sized pizza. Now the bad is that these look like the same portion sizes the adults get and for an adult you pay around $20-$25. This is why I said before that the sizes for the adult meals are a little small. Heck when they came, I felt like asking if I can order off the kids menu myself.
Just a shame, this is the exact example of a restaurant that started with such great potential, nice setting' beautiful location and decor, decent food and service for about a year... and then things suddenly changed, quality of food and service went way down, customers disappeared and management of the whole chain went down the drain. Went back there one more time after six months and this restaurant is WORSE than before. Tiny portions, lousy food that has to be sent back again and again . Ownership is too greedy to make real changes and save this place. My honest prediction is this place will close soon. At this time is a situation of "Too Little Too Late". Just a shame.
Went for Mother's day and was totally chaotic. I should have left when I wasn't acknowledged at the host stand. Girls were young, and I was very patient, after 2 minutes she finally looked up at that point I wanted to see when she would say something. I used to work at a restaurant and I would have never ignored someone. I felt bad for the servers, they were all running around. Our server was very nice but even getting our check took about 15 or 20 min. Everything took long. Food wasn't great either. Such a shame, probably won't be going back.
My wife and I really like this place. Whenever we visit we are able to quickly find a table and the staff is very friendly. Not to mention the food is really good. My personal favorite is the Carbonara. Occasionally it feels like the service could be a little faster, but the quality of the food and the ambiance make up for it. Tip: Visit during lunch happy hour M-F 3:30-6:30
