Brockton Pavilion Park is an excellent choice for a picnic spot, offering a wonderful environment for quality family time during the summer. With its lush surroundings and inviting atmosphere, it's the perfect place to gather with loved ones. The park's charm extends to its suitability for potluck gatherings, making it easy to share delicious meals and create lasting memories. Whether you're enjoying a leisurely day outdoors or organizing a family get-together, Brockton Pavilion Park provides the ideal setting for a memorable summer experience. Most of the parking payment machines are not working.
It may have just been a perfect night, but I saw Kevin Hart, and the atmosphere was prime, The city makes quite the backdrop at night. If you get the chance to go to a show or a concert here, take it.
The ground is really nice but the food in the club house is pathetic. Totally stale and tasteless.
Being March it was a bit muddy, but it was a great spot to hold the Annual BC Guide dogs fundraiser. There was a great door that was set up to serve food, and there were roomy washrooms if your group is large. Parking was only $7.50 for the day at the time.
Great place to stop for a hot dog and a drink, and watch the cricket players having fun.
I attended a TIKI Gala Party there this Saturday and the venue was great... BUT the location needs more work on the outside lighting... The party didn't start til 9pm, so by the time I arrived it was pitch black. And I mean pitch black to the point that I had to use my cell phone to see when paying at the parking meter. The walk from the parking lot to the pavilion was also unlit. Myself and 2 girls I escorted from the parking lot had to use our cell phones to make sure we were not stepping in some potholes as they were wearing high heels. Even worse, because of the poor street lighting, one of the members from our party couldn't find the parking lot/pavilion and neither could her Uber driver so she eventually returned home, forfiting her $30+ admission ticket. It's rather ironic that they have a large sign that says 'Don't leave any valuables in your car' and yet make it quite inviting to vandalism because of no lights. For safety reasons, I think the city parks and recreation needs to look into investing in some LED street lighting perhaps powered by solar panels to make it safer for everyone...
Great place to stop by, nice view perfect place to have a break while biking.
Great summer weekend bbq from the end of April through the first week of September. Cheap burgers to go with a super affordable bar. Watch some weekend cricket. Stop by for a casual lunch. Venue rental space at other times. Great for birthday parties and grad reunions. Affordable price for rentals under $600 and include the bar man. Weekday corporate parties a specialty.
Great location for company events in summer if lucky with weather. View of downtown and cruise ships, seaplanes taking off and landing... Lovely spot. Big field for fun and activities but this time there was a lot of geese poop - unfortunately.
This is a heritage building in the heart of Stanley Park. Sideline view of the rugby pitch from one balcony and likewise for viewing cricket from the other balconies. Magnificient views of downtown skyline, Coal Harbour and the stunning North Shore mountain range. As a rugby fan I felt right at home in the bar/dining area with all the great rugby memorabilia in the display cases. The food and drinks are top notch, obviously the place is very well managed. Definitely the best spot to grab a beer and something to eat in Stanley Park. Delightful Place!!!
