Beautiful Cemetery. The people who manage the site are very nice.
It is an awesome place to visit even if you want to chill out. I was there today.
I love that this place is still here, and the school building is now kept up. But don't expect any staff or guides at this site, they are all in Concord. For fans of the transcendentalist movement, and of Hawthorne's "The Blithedale Romance." See also: Margaret Fuller, 19th century feminist.
there really isn't anything left of the Brook Farm. There is a building from a much later period that was a print shop from a Lutheran orphanage. There are tours occasionally and there is an information sign but that's about all. The grounds are nice and it's a nice place to go for a walk.
Where are the goats?? I was really looking forward to them but couldn’t find them. Really nice trails though and interesting history on the sign to read about.
They won't answer the phone all the time but when they did very lovely lady that did and I was just wondering what is the educational system
Walking into the past: imagine 19th century chats with Theodore Parker abolition. See newbrookfarm
