Local neighborhood park with a fantastic playground for all aged children, paved walking paths, mini grassy pitch and a great skate park. The park looks clean, lots of seating & picnic tables with bbq's, restrooms and plenty of parking. It has a huge play structure that looks like a castle, with climbing ropes, slides, climbing wall etc. There's a mini structure for toddlers, swings, rope climbing structure... so much to entertain all ages. Even though it's pouring rain, so there are no other families here but ours, so they have the run of the place. Would definitely recommend if your in the area or live nearby.
This was a great park and my kids loved it. Im definitely will be bringing them back they didn't want to leave when it was time to go. There's plenty of space for a bunch of kids plenty of field space and It's just a good environment
Public bathrooms, public benches, awesome skatepark and mini nature trails. I wouldn't stay past dusk but otherwise a fantastic, clean park to enjoy. Note: I've yet to find syringes or other hazardous waste like Freeway Park downtown
I love this park. There's so many areas to explore and even short walking paths.
I used to go here all the time as a kid, its just sad now. Too many RVs and Trash everywhere. Tents and junkies on the sidewalks
While our son and his family lived in Seattle, this was one of our favorite places to take our grandson when we babysat. The park is well used and has a lot to attract toddlers and older kids -- climbing centers, merry-go-round, swings, sand pits, even a small skating park.
Excellent playground with a fun castle theme, frequently has many kids to play with even when other parks are almost empty. Even has a small castle for the littler kids to play on.
Its unfortunate that this became one of several locations in west Seattle where people park & live in their RV's. I have such fond memories of this park- like that little girl running in front of me as I was swinging and how she far she went flying across the playground. #nostalgia
There are some nice amenities at Roxhill Park, specifically, a good sized skatepark and a large playground with several new play structures. There is decent parking, a public bathroom, a playfield used for small-sided soccer games, access to wooded walking trails, shaded hillsides for picnics and relaxing, and picnic tables. A path to the south leads through a wooded area to another playfield with two baseball diamonds which are also used for small-sided youth soccer games.
This park has all a kid wants. There are swings, slides, and a few climbing structures. There are a few picnic tables, benches, lots of grassy area and bathrooms. The park is " closed to the public 11:30pm - 4am," but I don't know see show they close it. Google Maps took me to the South end of the park, but if you just drive North you'll find the playground.
