This place makes no sense! The Website says "we are open", but there is no store front. The opening blurb on the homepage ends with...."and available for purchase at The Brooklyn Bread Lab." All to way to Williamsburg, and they dont sell to the public.
You must go here. I would definitely spend the extra dollars to have bread like this regularly. This is what bread is supposed to be, I suspect. They grind the flour in-house, and the guy who runs the place tells me that they feed their starters religiously, 3 times a day, down to the minute. He takes it home on weekends.
One of tha best places ever i miss sigeal st and to my african friend over there at tha bread lab i will remember all tha good sour doe bread memories and thanks for being a good person ... And #2 do not ask them if they sell bread it not for tha public period
