Brookside Middle School

I was very impressed by the response time of the teachers when emailed regarding teacher grading process and procedures. My interactions with the front office staff was very pleasant. My son transferred from another state...calling ahead made our transition great. We look forward to next year. Like anything/anywhere there is room for improvement but nothing worth mentioning.

This school is a very great place, I'm not just saying that because I go here, but it really is. Sometimes the students are a little out of hand, but teachers are there to stop it. This is a IB school. We learn so many different thing from around the world and also from just right here in our own community. This school is an amazing place, and is very "hands-on." Going to this school being able to do the things I do there is a very great thing, and also this school strives for kids to be the best they can be. They are always doing things to keep kids interested, and intrigued in learning, and school activities. Overall I just want to give a great big shout out to all the teachers, staff, students, and everyone else at Brookside Middle School. Thank you for all you guys do

You shouldn’t have to wear a dress or whatever to the ceremony, if you dont then you cant go which is bull, i wasn’t comfortable which i hated. This school is horrible, a few teachers that are great the rest treat you like your nothing. The principal lacks at being a good one. Rules are to heavy, and for the dances or anything special they cost a good amount of moeny, this should be free, some of us want to enjoy this. Are they that poor of money. Honest, band is great, so is 8th grade civics and science but the rest are poorly taught.

I've been in this school for 2 years and this school is the worst. When I was in 6th grade a fight between a Teacher and a student because he wouldn't take his hoodie off when it was AFTER SCHOOL HOURS. But Brookside does mean well to keep all of there students safe and protected at all cost. But the REALLY AWESOME thing that lights up my interested for Brookside is the BAND!! THE BAND TEACHER IS AWESOME!!! I was only in 6th grade beginner then the next year 7th grade ADVANCED CLASS!! Overall the school is trying there hardest, and to be honest this is and OK school to go to!!

Instead of teaching 6th, 7th, or 8th grade specific classes, they just rotate which class they are going to teach each year. It's a good idea to make it easier for the teachers, but it means you have to stay all three years to get all the core classes.

I got expelled from this school for the stupidest stuff and triad is a way better school than this one so I suggest that you change schools because this school isn't known as the best and it's not because of the behavior because the students are the only thing that kept me going to that school.

School was an awful place with violent fights daily, crummy teachers, poor classes, and no feild trips, theft in the school stores, and worst of all voodoo dolls being sold to students promoting witchcraft.

Its an OK school, people there are just mad because they dont get their way, like chill

The school has a big variety of things for you to do and my friend went there really grate

It is a great school alsome people and great staff
