i’m 26 have been coming here since i was 14 and nobody here has ever once been helpful. one day i went to use the computers and i was surprised it wasn’t letting me only to find out i had a balance on two books i “never returned” when i know i did. i made the workers look for the books and they took forever but told me they finally found the books but that they were “damaged severely” i refuse to pay this balance and still am not able to use the computers yrs later. i am extremely broke and been unemployed for 3 months and wanted to print out resumes today but no help. no sympathy. i used to love this place but the public library STINKS.

We like it much better since they stopped selling food. The small while one is reading or studying is obnoxiously sickening. They have a great computer lab with very helpful staff.

Really great experience with the family for summer reading programs loved it so far awsome had a great time also with art competition the only complaint I have Is the food really wish they would come back and server delicious food for the family and people that love beign there all day to full ip again and refresh with some healthy snacks and drinks coffee

I love this place. Family friendly, plenty of resources, and they have a great computer lab. Silence could be enforced a little bit more by the staff.

I loved the service and help very unfortunate that most books I wanted they were never returned : but they managed to order them from different libraries from across Texas which made my day even better :D

Beautiful remodeling! Love the children's books section, its magical! New snack bar with lots of food and drink options.

An excellent place to use Internet , reference materials, and access movies. Highly recommended, not as quiet as some libraries but there are other areas to separate yourself from the main area. Additionally there is a concessions stands for snacks and coffee .

You’ll fine the main Brownsville library is very resourceful and it readily has a wealth of resources on hand as well as additional online resources to choose from. The personnel is all too kind and eager to help.

The workers at front desk, and computer lab, are absi very rude, and don't greet, as you walk in.....
