Fantastic RV park right off the freeway with massive 100 ft pull through sites. Highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
We called 2 months ago and reserved a camper hookup for next week. My husband is in the hospital and called to cancel but their phone isn't working and our card was charged so I feel we were scammed. Keith Henry
Easy access to the freeway. Paid online. No host or anyone at all who works here, so we just picked a site and hooked up. If you don't pay online, there's a slot for cash. Many, many sites available.
Very easy access off I-20. Nice level, long gravel sites with trees at each site, country setting, very nice. White noise from the highway, not annoying. Arrived after hours, was able to leave payment in office door slot. Full hookup, but didn't notice if cable was available. Building on site with 2 toilet/shower units and laundry, clean. Pretty small for the size of the park, but as most everybody looked to be mostly long term with large trailers, probably not a problem. Overall, loved the general feeling of the park, very relaxing, would definitely stay again. Would have given 5 stars if facilities were a little larger.
Our experience here could have been great. -super long pull thru sites -grounds seem well kept with little litter some around the outskirts - far enough off the freeway to buffer a lot of the noise -trees on most sites The reason our stay was NOT good was: two rows over someone had 3 dogs caged in an approx. 10x10 pen. These dogs barked day and well into the night until the negligent owners pulled them inside. It was non-stop barking! On our last day they finally pulled out. We'll probably give the place another try bc like i said it was good for all but that one thing.
Well theyre under new ownership now it was ok wifh the last owners but the people they are letting run it now are raciest my paremts stay here and me and my boyfriend came to stay with them and my boyfriend is black and they found some needles in the bathroom came and accused them of being his and he dosnt use at all
We were totally impressed by this clean little campground. Big wide spaces. Friendly guy checking us in. We paid $28 for the night and that’s unheard of now a days. We would stay there again.
My husband, I, and our 5 year old son stayed here for work. We have stayed here for more than a week so are. It is quite and clean. The shower house/laundry room is nothing fancy but well kept. The grounds are maintained and grass is mowed often enough. The spots are more than generous at 120ft long and very wide! We where told if we have to many items in our yard we would be responsible for the mowing. That's fairly standard for the parks we have been to. Most campers here are newer and neat. It is a off the highway a little so not as noisy as other parks. It is a 15 minute drive to Wal-Mart on the north loop and 20 to the mall on the south loop. We would happily come back.
Lots are spacious. Quiet area - heard some highway noise but tolerable. High water pressure - need regulator. Was unable to leave our dog tethered due to the several unleashed & unsupervised dogs! That was very disappointing for us and made us pull out two days earlier. Owner says think they come from the surrounding neighbors.
Very large sites provide more room than most could use! Sites gravel and almost completely level. Plenty of space between sites; definitely don't feel crowded at all. Nice views overlooking Abilene. Highway noise is there, but tolerable, and the only reason I don't give it 5 stars. If you have pets, watch out for the stickers! They are abundant. Great place for a quick overnight stop or a longer getaway.
