Date of Visit: Sat Aug 19, 2023 We came to Buck’s county to see a show at the Buck’s County Playhouse – The Bridges of Madison County starring the great Broadway star, Kate Baldwin. The area around the theatre is absolutely beautiful. The theatre is situated right on the Delaware river overlooking New Jersey. The theatre is a renovated historic gristmill right on the water. The seating is nice and comfortable – with a little leg room – its not too tight. The stage is easily seen from most seats without issue – as the theatre is small-ish. The sound quality if fantastic - we heard every word and song as clear as can be. I am glad we came to see this show because otherwise I don’t think I would have known about the town of New Hope and what a charming and historic little town it is.
We loved our first trip to the new restaurant - Playdeck. Amazing views, fast service, kind servers and really delicious food. Especially loved the pickles and wedge salad. But I do wish there was a kids menu.
Went to see a show and enjoyed all the beautiful bars and restaurants afterwards weather was great and just had a great time
It's a lovely venue, small and cozy inside with great views and acoustics. The show was funny and well done. Menopause the Musical part 2. Parking in New Hope is at best problematic...there is parking at the Playhouse but not nearly enough...but that's the case in town anyway. We found fairly close metered parking, it was also a rainy Sunday. There is a restaurant attached to the playhouse overlooking the river which is very convenient.
Super charming theatre in a picturesque riverside town. Not a bad seat in the house! Valet parking only at least for our event. They were friendly, but the lot is quite small compared to the size of the theatre. Will definitely be back! Especially if Nicholas Rodriguez is in the show!!
Saw Rocky Horror here. Amazing show. Great hidden gem this place is. You sit anywhere you have great seats. Will be a regular here I loved it!
Belated birthday celebration , but the evening performance was excellent, as well as the dinner menu selection at Stella's. My view was spot on, and this playhouse is definitely a keeper. Nice job, New Hope, PA!
We came to see New Hope and have a relaxing, rejuvenating day. Never did I think we would run into this 32 yo bartender, Wren, with the wisdom that no 32 yo should ever have!! He not only took care of our food and drink needs…. He was REAL in every sense of the word! We spent over 2 hours just relaxing and talking. Most amazing bartender we have ever had! And we are in our late 50’s….we’ve had a LOT of bartenders in our day

Beautiful setting to see a play or a show!! Great staff, too. Also, there's a relatively new restaurant and bar attached for before and after the show, and easy access for a drink at intermission! We've seen plays and concerts there and every time it's fantastic!
