Budget Car Rental

Rec'd the vehicle and the exterior was dirty, covered with dead insects all across the front grill, headlights and both side mirrors. The back was also dirty from what appeared to be driving in the rain. I washed the vehicle myself after my wife's outfit was ruined when she came out to check it out. Was told that the oil was just changed the same day we picked it up, yet the vehicle's information system stated there was 58% oil life left. Photos reflect me washing the vehicle prior to leaving the next morning.

This is what $972 gets you these days. Slick tread and damaged tires. No replacement was available and I was charged $140 for refusing the rental. Couldn’t even waive the cancellation fee for the inconvenience. Do yourself a favor and use Hertz

Watch out for the $250 deposit they'll want to charge your card, after you have already paid to rent the car. Of course they bury that in their credit card terms of service and are not upfront about additional charges. This was 75% of what I rented the car for. After returning the car with a full tank they charged me a fuel fee 30 minutes after I left the location. Called to ask why and, of course, they blamed their computer system for the charge. The car was trashed and disgusting. They just had the trunk marked as having scratches, but I had to circle every panel on the car due to scratches and dents. The interior was stained on all of the seating areas, including the back of the seats. Used to use Budget exclusively for rentals...no longer

Jimmy , at this location was awesome. More than helpful with the 4 extensions I had on my rental agreement. Very pleasant and an asset to your company.

THIS REVIEW WAS FOR COLUMBUS AIRPORT BUDGET LOCATION, NOT TYLERSVILLE!! Worst experience ever!!!!!! Have rented vehicles here many times. This experience was horrendous. We had to elevate issues above manager at this location. They tried to charge extra $13 a day for something included in our reserved price. The clerk's and manager were rude, they couldn't produce the stated "policy change" in writing and subsequently gave us an unsafe car with worn tires! The car had not been cleaned see pictures a used food container was left under the front seat!!!! I am writing a letter to the Budget corporate office as well. The supposed manager, Ryan "no last name" was totally inept, and should be demoted to cleaning the cars instead of interacting with customers. 1 star reflecting "Hated It!" is accurate!!!! Clean up your act...literally!!!!

I am very ANGRY and unless the situation is rectified, I will never rent from Budget again and will tell friends, family, and work associates to avoid Budget as well. I just returned my rental and was accused by the female employee at the desk of smoking in the car. I do not smoke I never have and was so shocked by the accusation, I was almost speechless. She asked if there had been anyone with me that had been smoking. I told her no one was in the car with me and reiterated that I don’t smoke. She informed me the decision would be up to the manager. So based on her very poor sense of smell alone, I’m faced with a $450 surcharge for something I didn’t do.

Everything here was quick and efficient. Jimmy was professional and a good communicator. I booked through kayak so I called to confirm they received the reservation a few days before arriving, and he was also flexible in letting me reschedule the rental dates. The car we rented was fantastic - I can't speak to the other cars at Budget but ours was perfect for our trip, and at a reasonable price considering the chip shortage and generally high rental car prices.

Be careful if you leave your car there for a while. I left my car there for a week, someone stole my license plate there. Also, make sure you check your fluids before taking a rental car! I learned that the hard way!

will not rent here anymore. screwed up my whole weekend trip. was told my granddaughter to pick up. Nope that wasn't true. mistake number one. setup to pick up in Fairfield Oh. went to pick up but sent me to the West Chester location pick up. second mistake. caused big delay in starting my trip. I'm done with these people

Avis and budget have always taken great care of me when I'm traveling for work or vacation. But do NOT go to this location if you are white. You will be told they don't have any cars available and will not look at other avis/budget locations nearby.
