Budget Rent A Car McAllen

Do not go to this place they make false charges to your credit card. Accused of car stains and cigarette burns!! They advised my husband to leave the vehicle parked after hours and to leave keys on a box!! My husband went to speak to someone and claimed a lady in a blue shirt was rude. I call and speak to an Angie who was also rude and hangs up the phone and refused to give supervisor information.. will be filing a complaint with business bureau and filing charges. Do Not rent from this place !!!

I had a reservation for a full size. They told me they did not have a full size car, and put me into something else that was smaller for the same price. That car ended up being a gas guzzler. Also, when I asked about purchasing Liability coverage, I was told that Budget did not offer it. I know it is listed on the website, but apparently the employees arent aware of that.

I came into Mission/McAllen to visit family. That's why i wanted this rental. The experience couldn't have been better. All my dealings with this location were pleasant and seamless. I appreciate that a lot. The vehicle i requested wasn't available, they already had a vehicle ready that was a little bigger at no additional cost. Thank you ladies. You are awesome.

If I could give this location -1 stars I would. These guys made me lose my flight back home because someone in the store decided to close down the building 1 hour before posted times. Because this is an offsite location from the airport, they have to use a shuttle to transport customers from the airport to the rental store and back. Called the store multiple times and no answer. Waited 10 minutes just to see if someone would come, then called customer service and Rep told me there was nothing they could do. Escalated the call to a supervisor and same thing. Asked for a manager and she told me there were none on site not surprising and that I should get a taxi or uber. I asked if that’s how they treated their customers and she laughs and tells me no sir.

The car I reserved was not there. They gave me an upgrade, which was a piece of junk. The change oil light was on, when you hit between 35 and 45 miles an hour the car Woods start to thump. I had to get on an expressway and could not drive it over 60 miles an hour or the car would shake like crazy. It was unsafe in my opinion not to drive it I took it back to budget where I had picked it up. Ask for a refund, but the people behind the desk could not do that. I asked if they would call her supervisor. My answer back was we don’t have their number!!!! I called them three times and never got a return phone call even though they told me the supervisor was there and had the paperwork and would call me after a meeting. I will never ever rent another car from budget.

Never rent from Budget Rental!!!!!!! Terrible customer service. Not Professionals!!! Manger is never around. Very poor business Cars are ugly and dirty. My rental was not what I reserved and paid for. Was given a smaller car Vehicle had Maintenance required red light on and brakes were bad. This privately owned business gives a bad name to Budget Rental. T

Danielle is ONE of a kind!! She makes one feel just right at home. Like, if we known each other forever. Very helpful to ones needs, and explains why? how? when? questions. Also an excellent multitasker. Mr. Isidro was helpful and courteous as well. They sure work well as a team. God bless them both. Excellent workers, appreciate them that they're on your team, because there's not many people like them.

Raunchy behavior. Wacky service. worst car rental place. The lady that worked there was being super rude to an old man and to me. When I went to go pick up the car with my friend, the lady had an attitude like if she didn’t want to be there. This place charges you a lot of money for every little thing that sometimes one can’t prevent like chips on the windshield, and they charge you for every little hair they find in the car. They also charged us $44 to fill up the gas when we took it 3/4 full. They could have easily filled it up with like $5. Never getting a rental from this place again. Those of you who gave it a 5 star, are lying.

Rented a vehicle only to find out that the location was closed when I arrived. Tried to call them but no one answered , and no answering machine. Complete Morons, I mean idiots. Dumb A_ _ ses?

2 hours after my scheduled appt time the vehicle finally arrived and it was dirty. Now I wait for it to be washed. Jason, the manager was indifferent about the whole situation. I highly discourage anyone from renting from this car rental agency. Poor service, poor condition of vehicle at issue.
