No hassle scheduling, great service at a fair price.
My experience with the company is limited but I feel they deserve a rating and review for their customer service and adaptability. We rented a truck online to pick up the next day. We had a discount that was honored. Reserving the truck was simple and fast. The Budget Truck was a little bigger than the other companies we checked. The one day rental price was the same as the other places but less when our discount was factored in. Prior to picking up the truck a friend offered us his truck and trailer. We called Budget to see if we could cancel without penalty. They were super easy about canceling and there was no charge to us at all. The only thing I would caution people on is to check on the per mile charge. Mileage was going to be four times what the actual rental fee was. That can add a lot to the cost if you are not paying attention. That is common with all of the truck rental companies. Budget's per mile charge was about twenty five cents cheaper per mile though.
Unprofessional and terrible service at this location. Unsafe trucks that are NOT serviced as they should and NOT removed from their fleet when they are hazardous and unsafe to drive. Then the 800# for customer service was NO better in being helpful in the matter and could careless of what you experienced with their truck rental. Customer service would NOT correct or compensate for their faulty truck, your time and inconvenience they have cause. I will NOT rent from this location!! Better yet DON'T! And I wont rent Budget!!! Customer Satisfaction is always in order! !!
i took the rental on saturday around 11.30 and returned the truck before 4pm and i was charged for 2 days called in the dealer to ask why i was charged for 2 days then he said to call budget directly and upon calling budget they stated per day policy is only 2 hours and you returned the truck in 4 hours . .so pathetic that this information is not mentioned anywhere on the website stating 2 hours/Per day and to add to my misery i took insurance and they charged for 2 days as well and they said they cannot refund just because their system does not allow them to return insurance money.... simply looted and will never take truck from BUDGET again !!
I was charged four times more than the price originally stated. When I called Budget to inquire about it they said it was a late fee and hung up on me! I was originally quoted $65 for one day if I returned the truck Monday at 7 a.m.. I arrived Monday at 4:30p.m and they were closed. Their website says they close at 5p.m. No way I should've been charged $269 for a late fee or even for just another day. Also, the truck we rented had no ramp, no gas cap and a cracked passenger window. The window wasn't a big deal but it was somewhat difficult trying to load/unload with no ramp. I thought the gas cap issue was kind of tacky but maybe this location is just negligent. Try to avoid them if you can.
Budget truck rental has left us in quite the pickle. A month ago my husband and I reserved a truck for moving today. We received the confirmation email on April 29th with a confirmation number and a message saying the truck would be ready on May 30th at 5 pm today. Two days ago he received another email confirmation reminding us to pick up the truck on May 30th and that it was good to go. We had assumed from both of these emails that there would be a truck for us. Last night he received a call, and a voicemail came in this morning that Budget had no available trucks for us. We are supposed to move tonight and tomorrow morning we have to be out of our apartment. When I contacted UHaul they at least gave me a confirmation within two days saying they were out of trucks. Waiting a month is absolutely ridiculous. Now no other places have trucks, either. Wouldn't recommend. The corporate Facebook page has similar stories. I don't know if it was a flub that happened specifically because of this location, or something that has happened on a higher, corporate level.
I reserved a truck over 3 weeks in advance and was received a call less than 15 hours in advance saying that there was no truck available for my move that I have spent over 2 months planning. Pay a little more and go with u-haul. Save yourself the trouble.
I got an amazing deal online only problem was when I tried to get my mom the same type of deal or any deal couldn’t seem to find one it would have cost her 4xs as much as I paid
Great customer service, efficient and good value for your money. Would definitely rent from here again!
