PLEASE, whatever you do, DO NOT rent a truck from here! Worst experience I've had with any company from start to finish, hands down. We booked a 16' truck over a week in advance. After driving from SC to MS, on the morning of, we called to re-confirm the reservation, only for the front desk clerk I think his name is William based on reviews? to tell us that the truck, nor any smaller ones, were available for 100 miles of this location. They informed us that we would have to drive a 26' truck or nothing.  Not only were we now going to have to pay more in gas and have a difficult time driving, but it will do you no good to make a reservation, because they will not honor it. Not to mention they will NOT make courtesy calls to customers to let them know of sudden changes to their reservation... WE had to do his job for him...  Then, when we arrived for our 10am reservation, "William" and the entire building REEKED of weed, and he had a gun and fake security badge on his waistband - yeesh. Talk about unprofessional. No wonder he felt entitled to have an attitude. The clerk then proceeded to casually/lethargically help another lady in front of us for 40 minutes and refused to greet us, and didn't try to multitask to help us with our 10am reservation.  When the clerk finally did pay attention to us, after 50 minutes of waiting, he was incredibly rude. Instead of completing our reservation and getting us a truck, THEN he started to multitask and instead assisted another lady behind us for another 15 minutes before giving us the truck at 11:10... over an hour waiting when we had movers waiting on us.  The truck is severely damaged, and it wasn't cleaned out from the last user - trash on the inside cab everywhere. Just down right gross.  After having the truck on the road for only 5 hours headed back to SC, IT BROKE DOWN ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. Incredibly dangerous. Took their roadside assistance 2.5 hours to get to us, only to tell us that the original location put NO DEF fuel in the truck before it was given to us... it's literally supposed to be part of the routine inspection that they ultimately failed to do. This added 3.5 hours to our already 9 hour trip and made us incredibly late for the movers waiting on us. This issue was absolutely 100% avoidable, but these workers are pure lazy and sorry excuses of employees.  HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Will be calling corporate for a full refund - this is a sorry excuse of a company and this location needs to be shut down ASAP.

Absolutely unacceptable! I made a reservation for a rental vehicle, for a cross country move, only to have no vehicles available when I got there to pick it up! The employee, with a firearm in his waistband, flat said "we don't have that", and walked away! Zero help! Rude customer service when I tried calling to figure out what went wrong and how to rectify the situation. I was told the closest thing they had was a truck, twice the size of what I reserved, 3 hours away, and that they would not be able to transport it to me. If I could give ZERO stars, I would!

Absolutely horrible service. I had a truck reservation and I set my pickup time at 5pm but when I got there they were already closed. Someone should have called or emailed me to let me know that they close at 5pm and I should get there before 5. I called them again next morning and the guy on the phone was not willing to help and it sounded like he was mad about being there. If you can’t provide good customer service then don’t work in places where you have to deal with people. The truck rental company is horrible too. Been calling back and forth to modify my reservation but no one seems to know what to do. Never going back to this storage or this horrible truck rental company

Absolutely the worst company and customer service. Do not rent from them! I reserved a car hauler and they don’t have it was promised a call back from an inventory supervisor between 15 min- 2 hours 24 hours later no call back no car hauler! This company needs shut down and the lady at the Jackson Mississippi office was more interested in telling me her life story than helping. Slow response and not professional.

Worst customer service. We showed up for our reserved truck and it was not there. We had driven 45 minutes to get the truck and they just said oh well it may show up, it may not. I had to call the corporate office to get help and even then we could not get a truck. Completely delayed our move and we ended up having to move in the rain and a day late because of Budget. I am definitely never going to use Budget again and definitely not this location. Worst experience possible and they did nothing to make any of it better.

Corra and her team are crooks!!! Sweet as pie but beware! We received a truck that had pallets on the back after driving 30 miles back and forth. They did not compensate us for our extra gas used. But gave  us 25 miles when it took 60. Then when we returned the truck with 3/4 of a tank they then complained that it wasn’t full even though we waste our gas for their incompetence..worst experience..never again!!

Would give it zero stars if I could. The point of the reservation is to have a truck ready for when I got there

William is the absolute worst front desk clerk I've had in my life! He was rude as all get out !! We drove 249 miles for a truck and this is what we got. I would never do business with this location again!

I scheduled a pick up 12/19/19 on 12/2. I got a phone call today saying they apologize because they longer have the truck I requested.  I was told UPS had all trucks rented out. My comment was well why reserve a truck when you knew that you were going to rent them out to someone.  This is very unprofessional.  Now we are stuck. Dont know how I am going to get my daughter furniture  back to to Dallas.

This was for most the worst experience I have had with a rental. First the truck was not in good condition. Rented the truck in North Carolina. Drove the truck and had a change of heart. Couldn't take it back because Budget was close. Drove from Truck from North Carolina to Yazoo City, Ms. Thank God for travling grace. Second, I call Budget 3280 Hwy 80 Jackson, Ms about the drop off and I had to deal with a rude customer service. It should be a class given to teach Budget customer service how to talk to customers. The only great experience I had was talking to corporate and putting my money back in my account. Never will I rent from budget again!
