DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS BRANCH!!! The manager Alex is the WORST at customer service. First of all, the car that we had reserved was not available when we got there. Okay, fine. Then the car that we did get was dirty as ever when we got inside. Okay, fine. We went on our trip and came back safely. When we came to drop off the car, I went to speak with the manager who seemed to be taking his sweet time on a personal call, laughing and ignoring me, the “valued customer”. While I was waiting for him to finish his personal conversation, I had a chance to look around and see that the actual business venue was as dirty and unkept as the car they had given us. To make matters worse, when he finally got off of the phone only to tell me to GET OUT when I asked him why the car was so dirty when he had gotten it. He pretty much pushed me out the door and locked it. I kept my cool the whole time knowing that the place was as shady as the manager looked. I was in shock! I called the corporate office and filed a complaint, which was an easy process and the girl on the phone, Valerie, was very calm and nice and helpful. I was very upset that such a big company allowed people like Alex to manage their branches. He couldn’t even speak English, and his customer service skills were non-existent. He seems to only help the Spanish speaking customers which whom he was also ignoring until the last minute. The employees that work there looked very unhappy and stressed out as well. There was a girl named Aisha who checked us in and she was as inattentive as the so-called manager. She tried to give us the car without checking it, asking us to mark the slip if there were any dents or damage to the car. Why is that the customers job??? Horrible service. Rent your car from somewhere else if you want to deal with better management. Good luck!

Last Saturday I make a reservation online when arrive at location they Didn't have the Truck available So I have to choose u-haul in Another store.2 Day Later the same credit Card I used online they try to used.becarful with this online Budget site

I reserved a truck $400 plus per day, 30 minutes later I found another price with Penske for $210, I called right away to cancel the reservation.  Budget girl on the phone said it was all cancelled.  4 days later $75 charge appears on my credit card for a "no show charge".  I called and explain to the girl, requested a solution, puts me on hold then hangs up the phone call.   So far I can't get them on the phone to resolve.

I had the worst experience of my life. Truck reservations were cancelled  4 times! My moving date had to change for the next day due to their negligence. I went with Uhaul after all and it was the best decision. Budget kept reserving me rentals but after an hour they would cancel at the end it was 3pm and I just gave up on them after having a panic attack.

Do not RENT A car from them! They are terrible. We made a reservation a week ahead of time so my fiancée could help me move from LA to Sacramento and when we showed up they said they have no cars?!?! Are you serious? They failed to notify us AT ALL. Very poor customer service.

This company always said they have a truck available but when you show up there is no truck available. And for the last two times they still the deposit the some of them require. Look carefully when you rent it with budget.

I am really sad that I have to give this place a bad review.  I choose Budget, because it is hassle free, great prices and close to my house to walk there. They have always been very accommodating, and easy to rent from, until today.  The first time I came to Budget was in desperation, because Enterprise was hassling me with credit checks, references, first born child and a blood donation. Budget rented me a car in less then 10 minutes and gave me a free upgrade. So, I have rented from them exclusively, even out of state.  So, today, I  reserved on line and always pre-pay with by debit. But today, they wanted a credit check, I explained that I have rented several times before and this has never been an issue. I have the deposit money, my insurance but, I don't have a credit score, because I don't borrow money.   Being at their mercy because I needed a car, mine is in the shop, I went against my better judgement and let them run my credit. Well, I don't have a score, so I couldn't rent the car.  You have lost a loyal customer, over something that has no bearing on me being a loyal, upstanding customer.  I could buy every car on that lot, but can't rent because I don't have credit card.

Smug representative was almost happy to tell us that they refused to wait for 5 extra minutes for us to return the car. "Well we wouldn't be here to check in the car, would we?" She said. Thanks for nothing.

Very friendly staff. They didn't have the truck I needed but helped my find it at a nearby location. Would definitely recommend them.

DON'T RESERVE HERE!!!!!!!!!Hugo will take your money and call you the day before to cancel your reservation.
