Budget Truck Rental

Paid for a rental truck and got an email confirmation saying we could pick it up at 8:30 AM on 8/5/19. Got there to pick it up, and the guy at the counter dismissively told us, "Sorry, we haven't had a truck available for the past 3 weeks." When we asked about why did you confirm that there was a reservation, and he said, "I didn't confirm anything, so don't blame me." We tried to ask if there was another truck we could have, and he said, "No, thanks for choosing Budget." So, now we have no truck to load to start moving to Baton Rouge to start a new job on 8/7/19. Thanks, Budget.

Made a reservation on August 2nd called on August 16th to confirm still good. Called the day before I was to pick the truck up and was told there were no trucks available. Went to the business and they just shrugged like it was a normal thing. Couldn't have cared less about the inconvenience they caused me and were not apologetic at all. NEVER AGAIN.

We were moving from Shreveport, Louisiana to Houston and rented a truck 2 weeks in advance. Got a call shortly after us reserving the truck that they wouldn’t have any so we rented it for the following weekend and had to move to Houston with only what could fit in my car and husbands truck. Lived with our 5 kids for a week in our new house with only clothes and mattresses. Had everything all planned for our trip back the following weekend to get our things, only to get a call at 6:30 at night THE NIGHT BEFORE we were supposed to pick up our truck, only to be told they would no longer have the truck we had reserved 4 weeks prior. They literally could have cared less either. We asked what we were supposed to do and their response was “I don’t know, it’s not my fault”. This was at the Bossier City location in Louisiana, address is 3058 E. Texas St. They didn’t even try helping to right THEIR wrong and TRULY didn’t even care. They were the rudest people I’ve ever encountered when it comes to working in retail. We did call corporate and they somewhat helped and accommodated us but they still weren’t able to get us the size truck we needed so we STILL had to leave a portion of our belongings behind and will have to rent yet another truck to get the remainder of our things. DO NOT use budget unless you enjoy getting the run around and horrible customer service.

Awesome place to get a truck on short notice

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!! I reserved my rental two weeks in advance and the manager had the nerve to call me on the day of pick up to tell me that they gave my rental away! Then after that wanted me to call their 1800 number for assistance , REALLY!!!! This place is horrible, has bad customer service !!!! You have been warned!!! Don't be like me scrambling last minute for a rental because of this place

We had to pick up a moving truck and Budget was provided through my real estate agent. Jordan was extremely polite and very helpful.

Worst customer service ever I rented a truck twice from this location , always rented from them great service, only that location is bad from my experience
