I reserved a truck a week in advance online and was very satisfied with the prices and the process. Three days after I made my reservation I received a call letting me know that they had absolutely zero trucks and would not be able to help me. They said they had hoped more trucks would come in over the weekend but that none did...I should have been notified of this potential complication so that I could have worked on a backup instead of them waiting three days to let me know they didn't have a truck.
When we dropped off the truck, the gentleman who took the keys verbally assaulted us for blocking the driveway, which we weren't. He yelled at us that it "wasn't his job" to deal with truck rentals, and drove the truck to an unmarked parking lot almost hitting our car. He did not inspect the truck, did not provide us with our copy of the paperwork, and told us to get off his property even though we returned the truck early, with a full tank of gas, and with all blankets in order. There was no reason for the way we were treated. Iwill never rent from Budget Truck Rental at Jaccar Automotive in Mishawaka again.
