I went in a few weeks before I needed the rental to make sure I could get a rental. They got me all set up. On the day I went to pick up the car, I was told they didn't have any of the kind I requested but they were going to upgrade me with no additional cost.. The car was super clean, newly washed and almost a full tank of gas. The guy who helped was so nice, also. I was beyond thrilled!! The car was amazing the whole trip. I will definitely rent for Enterprise again, as I have many more trips planned.
I travel all the time and rent cars and I must say this was the absolute best experience in 15 years of picking up my rental car. The receptionist was wonderful when I called to let her know I was going to be delayed they said they would hold my car. When I got here the staff was super friendly. Mitch was very professional took his time to explain everything walked through the car with me and gave me great information about the rental during the process. Mitch exceed my expectations as a customer. I Would highly recommend going through this company..
There is no longer any customer service at Enterprise. I've now gone through three vehicles because of all the issues that have had with them. The first vehicle they put me in was a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I was pulled over while driving it and issued a ticket for $165 because the plates were expired. The second vehicle they put me in was a 2021 Ford explorer. The second vehicle was a good car in good condition, but unfortunately I had a flat while driving it. I had to change the tire myself in the rain because roadside assistance was going to take 4 hours to get there. The next day they told me they had no replacement vehicles so they sent me to Firestone to get the tire changed. I sat there for 4 hours waiting on the replacement tire to be approved then I found out that the tire they approved wasn't in stock. So I missed the day of work and had to make a second trip to find out the tire still wasn't in stock. I'm now on my third vehicle that has expired plates on it. So I called them, have them resolve my issues. I was informed that there is nothing that they can do, because they have no vehicles in stock. I was always informed that I would not be able to do another exchange because I had reached my limit on vehicle exchanges. I'm exchanging vehicles because of anything that I have done. No help and still terrible customer service. I know that they're short-staffed and they're short of vehicles, but basic communication would be nice.
I’ve rented at this location for the past 3 years with no problem. Very nice people and excellent service…. With the exception of today. I have an out of state license, I live in both Illinois and Indiana. Typically you’re required to use a major credit card which is never an issue for me. However, i prefer to use a debit card due to the last time using my Amex they charged me $1200 for my rental when it should’ve been paid for with my points as I am a gold member. My credit card was charged, and my points disappeared. They never corrected the issue. Going forward, I’ve always used my debit card with being verified in their system and it has always been fine. Today I went to pick up my rental, using a debit card and they told me no. The manager apologized and told me I could rent elsewhere and became very rude about it. This is not how to do business with a loyal customer. I will not be returning to enterprise for my business needs.
I had to use Enterprise for a rental when my car was in the shop from hitting a deer. I used one of their cars for 7 weeks and they were amazing to work with. They checked every so often to make sure things were going good and my insurance agent was in contact with them weekly on updates. It was a good experience working with them.
For work, I had reserved 4 premium SUV's over 2 months ago. Didn't even receive one premium SUV. On the day and the time of the pick up, only one car was ready, waited one hour for the second car, my coach was given attitude by one of the guys at the desk when he mention the car smelled like cigarettes and the gas light was already on. They didn't do anything about it. For the last two cars, they told us we would have to come back a few hours later to pick them up. We came back an hour before closing. they gave us a truck instead of a SUV and the fourth car, they gave us a small SUV, that smelled like cigarettes and was really loud and vibrating and the coach didn't feel safe driving it to Chicago so he returned it right away and used is personal car. Employees were rude and did not want to help or be there for that matter. I'm going to attempt to get a refund for those cars, based on the customer service, I don't think we will be getting it. For every car we rented, the interiors were rundown, all the gas lights were on, and we didn't even get the vehicles we reserved. I understand that it was a football weekend and things happen at times, but for very reservation to be meshed up, and provide zero customer services that's ridiculous!
Extremely rude manager at this location. We rented a suburban over a month ago, secured with a Cc. We arrived 2.5 hours after our 8:00am reservation time and were told the car was no longer available. Website states you have up to 3 hours and they will call. I called the branch office and he couldn’t be bothered to answer the phone to assist. With so many other options, I wouldn’t waste time with this Enterprise location. I have three kids and they could not care less that they put my family under stress over this.
Worst service ever. I booked more than two weeks ago. First, they were supposed to pick me up at the shop. They did no show up, didn’t even called. When I called they told me they had no cars available and that they did not know at what time they would come pick me up. I took a ride to their office. They were rude, they did not even apologized for all the inconvenience. They pretended that I waited there until someone showed up to return a car. I had to go back to my job and no one cares about solving my situation. Thankfully HERTZ had cars available.
For starters, they never answer the phone. Then they tried to put me in a car that had a bent rim. If it wasn't for my fiance noticing it and told the gentleman that he would not have me driving a car with a bent rim, so we would need something else. The small SUV that I did end up renting the only other option they had and I needed something right then because my car was in the shop due to an accident had the service soon light come on every time you start it. We were told it was serviced but they didn't know how to turn the light off... it was also dirty on the inside. Like they tried to wipe it clean quickly but it was sticky and gross and smelled.
Worst experience I have ever had dealing with a company. Reserved a Tahoe over a month ago with my credit card. I received a call 2 days before my pickup day and was asked if I still needed my reservation and still wanted a 7 person Tahoe. I let them know yes to both answers The lady on the phone got very quiet and was acting weird and kept putting me on hold. I finally after 15 minutes of waiting was told by another guy there is no Tahoe and they can offer me a small 4 person suv. I explained I needed a 7 person vehicle because that’s what I was traveling with and they said ok they would have something for me. I called the afternoon before I picked up my car at 8 am because I didn’t have a good feeling. Again a 15 minute wait to get a very rude lady that said she was the manager and that I can’t get a car and they have nothing to offer me. When I asked when I was going to get a call to tell me this she said they are to busy to let me know and would have told me this when I arrived at 8 am with all the people and luggage . I asked to talk to another or higher up manager or a district manager I was told I couldn’t talk to anyone higher up and was given to another person there because she didnt have the time to deal with me. I then waited another 20 minutes and was told reservations mean nothing they can’t control there inventory and best they could do is give me 2 different small cars or I was told I could check with other branches. I can not believe you reserve a car and you get answers like this. I have a vacation planned and with 14 hours before I pick up a vehicle I was going to pay a premium to rent I now have to scramble to keep my vacation plans together and they have nothing to do or say . I would love to hear from a corporate person to go into more detail with this because after reading reviews this branch has zero idea what they are doing. Thank you enterprise rental car for really putting a ton of pressure and strain on my family’s vacation.I will spread this story to every person I talk to forever.
