Shopping at this place is a complete nightmare! Such a messy department store
Not bad, not great. This is a hit or miss on what you will find when you go. If you go early in the day and early in the week it seems you have better selection. As usual with stores like this, you children's and women's selections are typically bursting with a wide selection since those are your biggest sellers. I was disappointed in the men's section. In times past this was the store to go to for men's dress clothes and business casual. Not anymore. I was hard pressed to even find one polo style shirt with no large logo, picture, or overly casual. But they did have some nice men's shoes. The sale's assistants were very helpful and friendly. And everyone on the floor were working hard to try and keep the place tidy. Although the store is large and IMO that's an impossible task. I really appreciate the effort every employee was making. I really like the human interaction aspect of life and usually someone here will stop and talk and I really enjoy that.
For my first time here, was pretty upsetting. Had found myself a size 14 button up black dress that was under $25.00, I loved it so I put it in the cart to purchase along with some other items. When it was time to pay I got told I couldnt purchase the dress. The young girl spoke so softly I could barely understand her despite me asking her to repeat herself again and again. From what I could hear, she said that she tried twice and something about it being marked red. I asked her what was going to happen to the dress, and she said that it would be thrown away. I can't wrap my head around why I couldn't purchase this dress. All and all a very confusing and dissapointing experience. Especially since my other 2 items totaled out to be $98.56, then being unable to purchase a single dress that I truly loved. If that dress from yesterday is still there, I still want it. Let alone just how messy this store was. Things quite literally stacked and thrown around the place.
They do not have as much variety of clothing like in the past. I would say, they have better deals with younger kids clothing than the adult. You can also get affordable shoesbrand names and wallpapers or paintings.
New location, same Burlington. Went to purchase jeans for my son, and there were only two pairs in his size. Corporate needs to look into a remodel. Give the store a little more department store feel.
This store can be very unorganized at times. There's merchandise on the floor and clothes hung in different areas in the store. Need to hire more associates to upkeep the store.
They need to make the clothes are in the proper size and areas label don't the store look a complete message reopen the fitted rooms provide excellent customer service
Talk about poor customer service. I came to pick up my 86 year old grandmother in this 100 degree weather. I pull up in front of the store because she said she was walking out. I wait she’s not coming. I call her to make sure she’s ok she says she’s almost to the front she’s almost 90 guys- a lady comes and tells me I can’t park there- I'm not parked- Im pulled up front with my child in the car- but I say ok. I call my grandmother because it’s been about 5 minutes to make sure she’s ok she says she’s almost to the front she’s almost 90 guys- The lady comes out gets my license plate and CALLS THE POLICE! After I said- Im waiting on my grandmother to walk out! My grandma calls back panicking because she’s walking out in the heat and can’t find me. Turns out she was at Target next door and not Burlington. This lady could have offered to look for her, ask me if everything is ok but instead SHE CALLED THE POLICE ON ME. When I told her I was looking for my grandmother she said I DON’T CARE, YOU CANT PARK HERE.
Wow, I had not been to Burlington in many years. I do not remember if they sold such a diverse collection of merchandise previously. I know they say they're more than coats, but hey, they've given up on coats... I've included a photo of the four near empty racks of men's coats... The place is huge and I think they sell everything. Much of what they sell is similar to the stock at T J Max or Ollies, lots of discontinued items, good quality but not the latest...
New clean and very big! Still trying to stock everything but overall a very nice experience here!
