We have been here since June for fire detail, and have enjoyed our stay. The campground is close to town and has lots of shade trees. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. If I mentioned needing something, Aubrey managed to produce it. I did not use the restrooms or showers but did use the laundry room. Washers could be upgraded on the side we were on but the price for using them was great. I never used the other side. The office has ice, snacks, wine, and some food stuffs available. They also have propane available. The campground stays pretty busy so I would suggest reserving your spot. It is right off the highway but is usually quiet at night. If we are back here again, we will definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything Aubrey and Kerrie! Hopefully we'll see you next year.
Ok for one night, but barely. There are two sections. Old and newish. The newer section is nice, and has newer bathrooms. Only book it, if you can. The old section, where we were, is dumpy. And the bathrooms are horrific. Old, cramped, run down and dirty. Floors covered in water. The laundry room was the same. The older section sites are weird. We were parked on what was more of a driveway that an RV site. Again, not bad for a one night layover, they're pretty much the only game in town, but I wouldn't stay longer. And it ain't cheap!
Parked us next to highway and near some guy that likes to drive his Harley late. I know it's not their fault, but there was so much standing water that the restrooms were a little harder to get to. We paid more for this stop than any other on the trip.Service: 5/5
Easy to book online and nice lots with grass, trees, and picnic tables. Intro email could include wifi password and shower hours. Our sewage hookup was too full and overflowed when we tried to dump.
We visited this park on July 4th, there were plenty of spaces available. Nobody was in the office at the time, we used the online reservation to grab a spot. Somewhat a bit high on the price though at $65 a night before taxes, which are 13.2% added. This is a clean park with the usual amenities. Pull throughs are available. I noted that quite a few rigs pulled in towards evening, but there were still empty spots this morning. I would come back here again for an overnight spot.
New ownership. No longer a Good Sam, although the signs for Good Sam are still up. $60 a night with demand pricing now in effect. As usage goes up so do rates. Not worth the cost. Next to US-20 with road noise day and night. Half the park was flooded when we were there with motorhome towing a car. Used to be a good RV park. No longer.
Disgusting, for one thing- I should’ve taken pictures of the run down bathroom/shanty- horribly disgusting. 3 showers, only one “in service” - I own a cleaning business, I am aware of how long build up takes to get there- also from the mountain, not some yuppy chick. Wi-Fi didn’t work, tried to switch spots but was told “they would all be full” all spots stayed empty. Don’t let the better side reviews get ya. If you are in a pinch, it’s somewhere to lay your head, other than that not much to see
Nice park, easy access. Friendly hosts. Cute office/store. Pull through sites. Make reservations - they fill up quickly. We were there in June. Safety: Felt very safe. Will stay again. Food & drinks: As recommended by the park host, Glory Days Pizza! Get the King - delicious! They even deliver!
Very poor customer service. The office help was rude when we asked why the power didn’t work at our sit. Then the owners showed up at our site telling us we yelled at his employee. Yes I did. When he’s told me it was my fault I had no power! But really I paid for power. Long story short we moved and the power worked. I would stay at the rest stop next time!
Spent a couple of nights here on our way home. Very nice people. Their laundry and restroom/shower facilities are nice and clean. They are pet friendly, including big dogs, like our rottweiler.Service: 5/5
