Butler University offers over over 200 study abroad programs in over 70 countries to meet the diverse needs of the student population. You may choose from an Approved List of programs to study for a semester, academic year or summer term. All students who wish to study abroad must work with the Center for Global Education. You may study abroad as early as the first semester of your sophomore year and as late as your senior year, if allowed by your College. The Center for Global Education provides study abroad advising and organizes pre-departure sessions to help guide you through the study abroad process, and encourages you to begin considering study abroad as part of your academic planning in your first year at Butler.
