Peace & Global Studies is an educational experience that includes several academic disciplines. There are two certificate options a student may pursue: a 17 unit Certificate of Completion or a 27 unit Certificate of Achievement. Peace building careers are gaining prominence in the world as are educational programs at major universities around the world. The goal of Peace & Global Studies is designed to build a world of peace beginning with our inner lives and extending to all outer relationships from families & communities to international relations and with the natural world. Peace making and building is an evolving and dynamic endeavor that examines the human experience from a multidisciplinary approach including psychology, sociology, anthropology, language, arts, history, political science, philosophy, and communications.
