Mark helped us out a lot today, fantastic service, 5 stars! He did seem fairly busy too as the store clearly was having a busy time. This particular store is pretty good, good location, good parking, clean. As a chain itself, buy buy baby could always use some improvement, but no complaints.
We were assisted by Hank today in the chair section. Hank was the most caring and genuine sales representative I have ever come across in a store. He recalled personal stories of having children and special certain moments can be babies. We were so touched and made our experience in the store really special. Thank you Hank!!
Today, 02/24/2022 @ 3PM, we were in the store browsing around. The manager on shift was yelling at his employees across the store basically calling them stupid. Poor cashier looked lost and he was completely helpless. In fewer words, very unprofessional and poor lack of leadership for a manager. When being asked questions by myself and other customers, he sounded and looked over it and not wanting to be bothered. This needs to be brought to some sort of attention because he is working in an environment that has to do EVERYTHING BABY! Working with families, expecting mothers, babies! For the prices customers are paying, we are expecting a high quality experience!! The employees also deserve to be treated with respect. Besides that, the store is somewhat organized and clean. Will be visiting different locations after this incident.
Just finished our first trip to any baby stores and I can’t not commend Rafael for the incredible service. He claimed to be new but his product knowledge was off the charts. We’re sold and will be back.
My husband and I had our consultation appointment today for our first baby registry. We went into Buy Buy Baby at the Port Chester location not knowing what to expect. We were slightly nervous but more excited. We were so pleased and relieved when we were assisted by David! David was so knowledgeable in everything from strollers to baby toys! He helped us complete our registry and made us feel so comfortable and confident with our selections. Thanks again, David! You were such an amazing help!
I absolutely LOVE this store, they went above and beyond for me yesterday. They never hesitated once to go back and forth between their stock room and what they had out to see if something was in the back that they could get for me and for great prices. I picked up a number of things for myself and family members and they helped me thoroughly with all my purchases and advised me on what to get that was best. It was a wonderful shopping experience. The stroller/car seat information they all had was incredible and without me even asking they said they would help bring the items to my car. They went above and beyond and even took my phone number down should something I wanted become available.
I wish I could give no stars. We went to return a formula. Ok fine they can't take it. But at least give store credit. You know how expensive formula is. Stupid store policy. The manger said sorry. Sorry nothing! Very inconsiderate. The worst! The reason why we return the formula is because our son is allergic to soy. It was open but we did not use it. All the manger said sorry! Like if she cared.
Horrible front customer service. Lady and her manager made zero effort to help us resolve the discount/coupon issue we’re facing. Ended up leaving the place with our cart full and not purchasing anything. The only positive thing about this place was one of the staff there David; very positive and helpful person; spent 20minutes to show us car seats and strollers; too bad he wasn’t a cashier for us….
Bad experience at this location. Tried to exchange something that was purchased off my registry - they claimed there was no record of it being bought off my registry even though I showed them all the proof. How is that possible? Then I tried to return something my aunt had accidentally bought a duplicate of from my registry. I wanted the credit to go back to her card to help her out, since I had no use for 2 of the same thing and she had bought 2 completely accidentally. I was told I needed the physical card, and couldn’t give them the number of the card for them to manually input - to be clear I have absolutely NO problem with this policy. I expected that to be the case, but I wanted to try anyway to help out my aunt who has 3 kids and a husband still recovering from Covid-19. My problem with this situation was the disgusting unnecessary attitude and rudeness I received from 2 different cashiers. Bear in mind I am heavily 9 months pregnant - yes, I may be more sensitive than others. But this is the client base of this store! Heavily pregnant women, women with children, maybe even women with post partum depression - employees should have this in mind! And put in a little effort to make the client feel welcomed or at the very least just be decently friendly. Very disappointing experience - have only ever had a nice, positive experience at other locations with helpful, friendly employees. Definitely not this place. Do yourself a favor and go to the nearest location in Scarsdale.
The Port Chester store has the best employees and the best customer service I have ever received. Every person in that store has bent over backwards to help me. Michael the manager has always been friendly and has gone above and beyond to help me with complicated purchases and returns. Erika in registry literally personal shopped for me and helped me complete my registry. Every time I came in she stopped everything to assist me. Aracely in customer service has helped me numerous times with returns and exchanges. Both Davids in strollers were extremely knowledgeable about their products and helped us make an excellent choice. Hank and Steve in furniture were extremely knowledgeable about their products and had lots of useful advice. I am so grateful to everyone in this store for their time, patience, and help in making every visit quick and easy. Being a new mom, I am still figuring things out but having these experts and professionals to guide me made all the difference. I literally feel like family when I come into the store and everyone is always kind.
