My furniture was supposed to be delivered Friday. They gave a 4 hour window, called at a random time during that period and expected me to stop everything I’m doing to meet their delivery guy within 15 minutes. I told him i needed 20 minutes to meet him because I’m at work and it an inconvenient time. When i rushed to meet the delivery guy, he had left and wouldn’t pick up my call; When i called the customer service, did not care about me or my issue and just kept repeating themselves and acting like they could do nothing to help; even though they know the driver was literally 5 minutes away and could come back. One manager by name Tim or Jim called me back and did nothing to resolve it but rather told me i should have told them i needed time to meet the delivery guy. Even though this was exactly what i did the day i paid for it and when the driver called me. He just pushed my delivery to next week Tuesday because, hey , they already got their payment, it’s my problem now, not theirs. I thought the bad reviews here were exaggerations; even some of the good reviews mentioned something went wrong but they just let it slide. That’s really how Pilgrim Furniture does business; very unprofessional. I really regret doing business with Pilgrim Furniture. They couldn’t care less about you or your furniture once they get paid. You’re better off spending your hard earned money at Costco or Wayfair.
Awesome experience at pilgrim mattress city today. Bob our salesman was not pushy and listened to every need and concern we had. Unbelievable selection and service. Would highly recommend mattress city to anyone that wants awesome service and outstanding prices.
!WARNING! Don't throw your money away on the "5-Star Service Warranty". When you do finally have a warranty claim, the manufacturer of your item will have already "gone out of business". Pilgrim Furniture sure does leave that part out of their 5-star warranty sales pitch. In the end you'll be left with an unrepaired item and a minuscule store credit good for one-half of an accent pillow.
The absolute worst store I've ever purchased from. First they delivered a structurally damaged couch after their delivery person dropped it in our driveway. Pilgrim offered to send someone over to see if it could be repaired. We refused and requested a replacement because who in their right minds buys a brand new broken couch for over $1000? Then upon delivery of the second couch left us with a discoloured cushion, after stating the new couch was opened before delivery for quality control. Called 10 minutes after delivery to ask can the delivery people return our old cushion so we have a presentable couch finally, and they refused and said we have to go through the process AGAIN to have a replacement. Never shopping with them again.
Come here now!!!! Do not think twice!!! Jason and Anthony are seriously amazing! After 15 years it was time to say goodbye to our couch. We are determined folks, so we were ready to meet inflated prices and ready to shop store to store. I will sum up our entire experience with Pilgrim. Super genuine, super patient, no sales feel at all, ready to help and I am talking genuine help. Once we found the right couch with the specific dimensions with their help it was time to have fun shopping for prints and patterns and with so many options I was having a hard time, they really took the time to help me discuss think and get options that I would be okay with. Best part the prices are unbeatable!! Cannot wait to get out couch. Pictures below show the couch we picked in different color and pattern selection for pillows. I don’t blame them for any delayed shipping, COVID still taking a toll on shipping delays to be fair. I am definitely going back soon!!! Update: Out couch had some issues when we got it. We had th warranty and Jason and Anthony came at us again !!! Took care of us all over again knowing our challenges. We left happy customers again !

Bob from mattress city pilgrim was the best. Highly recommended and answered all the questions i needed about my therapeutic mattress. Great hilarious guy, as i said to him he was “unBOBlievable” 10/10 would go to him again!
I wanted to share my huge disappointment with the purchase of my sofa and how my repair request was handled when I reported the visible issues while still in warranty in 2020. I was told that the fabric that I have is "very durable" on my repair request. I really want you all to see the current status of the sofa and how "DURABLE" fabric looks like now in the attached pictures. I have no other option but to TRASH this sofa set. I had a lot of trust in the Pilgrim and that was the main reason behind me purchasing this expensive sofa set from them along with the warranty but my disappointment is immense not only with the initial purchase but also how my repair request was handled when I initially reported the issues with the sofa while still on warranty but it was ignored by them.
I purchased a reclining sofa from Pilgrim, including the warranty. My sofa plug broke and in need of some repair. The sofa is still under warranty however; they first denied my claim stating I no longer have coverage. Once I finally was able to get the person I was speaking with to actually do the math, she realized it was still under warranty. I originally filed the claim in May, after calling every month they finally allowed me to submit the pictures, only to now tell me my claim is out of the 30 days from incident to submit a claim. I realize I have to file a claim to get a replacement or service. I will Never buy from Pilgrim Furniture again. The warranty company is terrible, it is almost impossible to speak with someone and when you do, they tell a different story every time.
I purchased an item on clearance that I checked thoroughly before buying because it was still more than $400. It arrived so badly damaged as to be unusable. They refused to offer any refund because "clearance sales are final." Avoid this business if you can.
