We were gifted a Boppy Nursing Pillow in the style ‘Pink Garden’ at our baby shower this past weekend. Unfortunately, there were yellow stains on it AGAIN, GIFTED to us in which we drove all the way here to exchange it as I REALLY wanted this pattern and have been unable to find it elsewhere. The website stated that the Dallas location had them in stock, but they did not in which their associates informed me I could still exchange it for a different pattern or item. Upon the exchange process at this location, Mr. Jenkins stated they were unable to take it back although we RECEIVED IT THAT WAY AND HAD A GIFT RECEIPT. He proceeded to say, “It looks like a baby left the stains.” or something along those lines, yet we are currently expecting our FIRST child. I’ve seen people take items such as these pillows, bottles, etc. out of the packages as I am truly convinced THAT is how it got stained in the first place I hate that people do that. To be told indirectly that I was lying and they couldn’t exchange it b/c of the way WE RECEIVED IT WAS BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL AND INFURIATING ESPECIALLY since the Dallas store had no problem to do an exchange. All Mr. Jenkins did was continue to shrug his shoulders and have a ‘SOL’ face towards my partner and I. Eventually he accepted the exchange, but threw the pillow from the front counter to the back counter with no problem showing that ‘we’ were being difficult. However, the young lady whom completed the exchange was absolutely kind. I am not one who EVER leaves reviews, but this I felt I had to share.
they should not be in selling baby product. If you have online order, good luck getting customer service support, when you ask the store question, they tell me to call customer service. called customer support, after 20min waiting, they told us they will have someone call me back and never herard back.
Waited for someone to come open the baby formula nobody showed up after 20 mins take to manager she acted like it was no big deal do know why I even shop here the things are marked up 40% over everyone else. Manager said we dont have enough employees well that bad management never will I be back have 4 kids and another on the way this store has received over 10k per kid not anymore
I had an issue with the online department of BuyBuyBaby and went into the store in Plano. The customer service associates were very friendly and attentive and when my issue was referred to a manager, she was great too. She helped me deal with the online department and get my issue resolved as best as she could which I appreciate.
The best customer service I highly recommended this store. Buybuy BABY they have the best stuff. Big thanks to the store Manger Rob and his stuff for always helping us.
A BIG shout out of thanks to Lauren Bodiford, the assistant store manager of the Central Expressway Plano TX store. Lauren went above and beyond and literally went the extra mile. I placed an online order for 6 items on August 11, 2020. Only one of the items arrived in time for an August 22 baby shower. The remaining items had been scheduled for arrival when ordered for August 14 - 19. FedEx indicated they were delivering on August 21 and then changed it to August 22 - the day of the shower. When I had not received them 1 hour before I needed to leave, I called the Plano store. Lauren offered to gather the items and let me pick them up. When I indicated that I didn't have time to go south before going north to the shower, she didn't hesitate to offer to deliver them to my house which is about 5 miles from the store. I was shocked and elated at the offer. Within 35 minutes, the remaining five items were hand delivered to me at my front door. Thanks Lauren for the exceptional solution for what otherwise would have been a disappointing online experience. I will definitely be back. Hopefully your store manager and the Buy Buy corporate office will acknowledge you and your customer service. THANKS!!! Linda Kemp
As a worried and concerned mother, I needed to figure out a way to feed my baby a warm bottle while on the road. They have a nursery in the store that is totally covid safe. As well as outlets in the nursery so I could use my bottle warmer and heat his bottle. The general manger and store associates were very empathetic and helpful. It felt like they really cared about my needs. They provided me the best products to use while I’m out and about with my baby. I love this store and the associates working in it! Thank you Buy Buy Baby. God bless you guys.
I went into the store yesterday, to purchase a stroller travel system. I went with my mother in law and son. When we got to the strollers, I had a question about a specific one, and the associate if she isn’t a manager, she should be! Tori, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She started off with asking why I liked that specific one, and what else was important to me in a stroller. Then we talked budget. She then showed me a stroller that was checked every box, plus some! She did a side by side comparison of the two, and let me take extra time trying the strollers out - and FaceTimed my husband once I knew I was sold. The stroller she showed me was initially over my budget - but she asked if I had signed up for their coupons. This was my first trip to BuyBuyBaby, so I had no idea what she was referring to. She told me to go online, sign up and once I had the coupon to either purchase online, or come back in and she would place the order for me. With the 20% coupon, it brought my total down within budget. Tori went above and beyond in her role, she showed outstanding customer service and built a rapport with a customer - all while remaining professional and ensuring my business was not lost. I ended up purchasing the exact stroller online, and can’t wait for it to be delivered! I am grateful for the outstanding service that I received at this location, and am thrilled that I was able to purchase this stroller in full confidence. Thank you Tori!
This was my first time going to this store last Friday. I went around 1:30pm on a weekday & the parking lot was almost empty. I didn’t know if this was a good or bad thing. When I entered the store, I reached to get sanitizer from the sanitizer station, but there was none. Also ,two employees walked right by me and didn’t give a greeting or ask me if I needed help with anything. Upon walking through the store, it is clean and neat, which is the reasoning for the 2 stars. However, things are overpriced. Some items, such as Carter’s, can be found at the same quality, yet cheaper prices at Walmart or Burlington’s.
This place is great, a little expensive, but you can't buy class. Every time I walk in here, I am greeted with friendly faces, always point out their nursing room on every visit, which is fantastic, because let's face it moms, every time we try to go shopping for anything, the baby is always hungry. The chairs are comfy and there are usually a diaper or two in there if you need to change baby, the staff is helpful, very baby friendly.
