I have had nothing but trouble with Byram and have spent 4 hours in the last two days on the phone with them and their mistakes are STILL not corrected! Nothing but the run around and being refused a conversation with a supervisor and billing! Terrible customer service at a time when I am a new ostomy patient and I’m literally without supplies because they made and error and shipped the wrong supplies and now it has to be returned by me and received in their warehouse before new and correct supplies can be shipped to me. Just awful! THEN they said they were transferring me to a supervisor and I sat on hold for 43 more minutes before I decided to hang up and call the Somerset, NJ location and they fixed the errors made by the Worcester store! Still, I’m done with Byram! Do not use this local store!
I have attempted to contact Byram multiple times regarding a billing question and never got a response via the help email or a call back from a supervisor per my request. I will absolutely NEVER recommend Byram to people I know nor will I use their services again. Because I’m unsure of how to respond to the comment from Byram: I had emailed the email address provided on 8/6/23 and did not hear back.
I used to have no issues with Bryam. Always received my orders on time with no hassle. Recently I placed in order for type 1 diabetes supplies in may that I never received. Bryam claims the carrier emailed proof of delivery that I have yet to receive.I let it go and since I had back up supplies made another order in the first week of june. It’s now 2 full weeks later and the order is still “in process” I have called customer service several times and have been told this would be escalated but I’m not sure why it is taking 2 weeks to approve my order. I have been with this company for years. I have utilized my extra supplies and am now having diabetes complications because I can’t get supplies from Byram. Hoping this review will help other diabetics to prevent them from complicating and already challenging illness.
Absolutely awful company that I wish I never had the displeasure of using. Lied to me about the cost of diabetic supplies and then shipped them to me without my approval at a different price than I was told and then received a bill for over $700. I could have got the product cheaper elsewhere if they had not went ahead and billed me for something that I didn't consent to. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Placed a reorder, the web says patient responsibility: ZERO DOLLARS! Card gets charged $635.00. I have called 3 times. Wasted over 3 hours AND I'm placed on hold until the call hangs up. I ask to speak to a manager and they hang up on me. Find a vendor who cares. I'm finding a new vendor A.S.A.P. Don't waste your time or money. You've been warned!!
Byram has refused to accept Medicare part b information. I have made dozens of attempts and had faith the situation would be corrected. It hasn't been. Despite my constant communications, the account was put into collections. I even had a Mainecare representative on the line with me to help straighten out the billing problem. Nothing fixed it. I do not recommend this company to anyone. They are not interested in anything but money.
I ordered ileostomy supplies on 1/30/23. Should take 2-3 days to receive them. The girl who took my order said her computer was down and she would enter all the info in the morning. she said she would call me back if there was an issue with the order. On Feb 1st, I got a voice mail that my supplies had been shipped. As of today 2/8/23I have not received them. I called last night and was on hold for more than 45 minutes. I emailed today, reply was "We will contact you within 2 business days." I am out of supplies, my insurance pays for 10 a month and now I have to wait for who knows how long to get my supplies. I would not recommend this company for any urgent care supplies that may be needed.
Constantly sending me wrong items and then tell me “oh well” when my insurance won’t cover another order for that month that they made the mistakes on. I have an ileostomy so it’s not really an “oh well” situation. Smh
If I could give negative starts for this place, I would. I have had nothing but issues getting my Type 1 Diabetes supplies from Byram. Recently, I was told that my prescription expired and that Byram was requesting a new one from my doctor. I was told they were fax requesting, and that I did not have to do anything on my end. After 3 weeks of calling Byram and getting no answers, they finally tell me that they do not even have a fax number on file for my doctor. They were sending a fax to literally nothing. Now, all of a sudden I owe a bunch of money to Byram, and they are telling me it's because my insurance has changed in January it hasn't. This company is a scam and just want your money. Do not use Byram.
I should have read the reviews before I ordered my supplies. They closed my account three times without telling me and here I am waiting for Ostomy supplies thinking they're sending me the stuff I ordered. Total garbage. Horrible Customer Service. STAY AWAY!!!
