Cafe Botanica located in the heart of the Tucson Botanical Gardens. Featuring locally sourced, hand-made cuisine.
Open 7 days a week. A great place to stop for a quick lunch if you are a Botanical Garden member! If not, you will need to pay to get into the garden... but what a great way to spend a leisurely afternoon. We harvest from the gardens for many of our dishes, and the view from the patio is extraordinary! This is a truly Tucson experience.
Wonder how to use some of the more esoteric ingredients from the desert bounty? We make some great food using indigenous crops, heirloom seeds (from the Father Kino era). And then there are some tenacious farmers growing all kinds of great and more recognizable produce. Also check out our meats from Willcox and Winkelman. Still waiting for the return of the sweet desert shrimp from the Gila River. We don't grow a huge bounty in this small part of the desert, but there are some delicious crops that grow as weeds in our yards. We are playing with those and having some great fun.
