This place is so SO cute! For starters it does tend to be a little packed we went around 10am. My favorite part is you wait in line order at the register and then you go find your seat, so you don’t have to worry about paying after you eat! We ordered the cinnamon French toast and pancake stack. I don’t think I’ve had fluffy French toast like these in a while, First Watch could NEVER! yeah I said it. The pancakes my mom said were delicious, very fluffy and buttery. We also had a Mexican Mocha and it was like a French toast with some spices, very delicious Waiters and staff were kind and my favorite part is they don’t come check on you every five minutes my preference. We sag outside, which was beautiful. I would avoid sitting outside in the summer though it was a bit hot but I wanted to do it for the vibes.
Very nice place. Great food I had the brazed rib sandwich and my kid had pancakes with bacon and of course we had to try a couple desserts everything was delicious. We will be back soon next time I'll check out the patio when the weather is a little cooler.Food: 5/5
Hidden behind a slightly modest entrance, you will find a cafe that holds all things that make a museum visitor looking for a treat happy. Delightful staff, outstanding food and an environment buzzing with people enjoying their afternoon. You will place your order at the counter look for menus while you are waiting in line, in case it is a busy time and then find a table. There are plenty of seating outside, too, so do not hesitate to continue through the room. Cannot recommend highly enough -- a true gem in the historic block of the downtown Tucson.
Cafe Burger for life! I've been going to Cafe a La C'Art for about 10 years. They are always so consistent and delicious Mixed Berry Cake and the Chocolate Bombs are staple desserts. All of the menu items and daily specials hit the spot everytime !
A coworker referred me to this restaurant and I will not be returning. When I walked in, I was very impressed by the beautiful artwork on the walls and the tables along the wall in the waiting area. It made me think of an outdoor patio vibe being that it was separated from the main seating area of the restaurant. However, I felt extremely overwhelmed and rushed to make my selection because I didn’t see the sign until it was almost my turn to step to the counter. Savannah was very hospitable as she took my order and explained to me that I seat myself and the waiter would find me. They were rushing through these tight spaces in between the tables, sometimes going in circles to find the right table, and often yelled at the customers to split the line so they could walk through. Very chaotic! No one asked if I was okay, if the food was good or if I needed anything else like you would typically expect at a restaurant while you’re eating your food. The only time I was ever addressed was when the waitress brought out my food and offered me ketchup or hot sauce. I politely declined because I hate condiments on my potatoes. Usually home fries are very well salted/seasoned but theirs was bland and I had to drown it in salt and pepper. The Benedict was decent but certainly not the best I’ve had. I also didn’t like that I was prompted to leave gratuity prior to receiving actual service. Had I known my presence was going to be ignored, I would’ve chosen somewhere else to enjoy a nice brunch on this wonderful Friday afternoon.
I absolutely loved everything about this place the ambiance, food, drinks, and the customer service. I want to thank Steve and Sav for the great experience! 10/10 recommend this cafe!!Recommended dishesCinnamon French Toast, Grilled Breakfast Burrito
I typically love this place. The atmosphere is great. We sat outside in the garden area they have, which is lovely. They have a nice selection of food, very limited on vegetarian though. I had the market veggie skillet with rosemary potatoes, which is delicious. We went for my birthday. They don't do anything special for your birthday. They gave me a candle to put in any dessert I bought. It took a while to get our food, which was no big deal since we were enjoying it. But we never had a server once we sat down. I had to ask for water and ask about our food. When I asked who our waiter was, I was told we weren't assigned one. We paid the tip ahead but never had a server. However, that is not the norm. Usually, we have great service. The staff was friendly at the counter. It's a lovely old building with great food and homemade delicious bakery items. We will go back. Vegetarian options: There are a few choices but not many. Parking: It's downtown with limited meter parking spots. However, there is a paid parking lot within walking distance on the same street .
There for late breakfast on Saturday with family. Place is really bright and pretty, liked the queuing to order, and there were plenty of seats indoor and out. Cinnamon roll was fantastic, pancakes, French toast, and skillet were all very good. Good green iced tea, too. Great experience and we will be back.Food: 5/5
Great little place. Food was amazing from the pancakes to the skillet every bite was the best! Didn't leave space for dessert but they looked very good. Drinks were also awesome. My favorite was the queens crown! And the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend!
It's always a good time eating here. The vibe is always good and the food is always delicious. Staff is super friendly. I recommend you stopping by and eating here. Plus they have amazing dessert options.Food: 5/5
