Tonight at Cafe Amici was awesome. The two awesome bartender David and Regina made me feel welcome. My baby clams in a light wine butter sauce was amazing with crusty bread. And my two esposados on the rocks was made perfectly. The atmosphere was great vibration and energy was awesome. As a woman sitting alone I felt safe and comfortable. I will be going there again. Cafe Amici is everything I expect from an Italian restaurant. The staff is very friendly and professional. Inside and outside are kept clean. Atmosphere is very family friendly. To put a cherry in top, the food is phenomenal. I will definitely be returning for another meal sometime in the future. Located on Whitney Ave across the street from Wells Fargo or Walgreens. There is no direct highway to get there. If you're on Rt15 take exit 61. If you're on I91 take exit 5, or exit 10>40 connector>exit 1. Do yourself a favor and make the drive. It's well worth it.
The atmosphere and service are great. It's a nice place to enjoy with friends. I don't recommend the stuffed portobello. The flavors didn't work for me. I also had escarole and beans, it was ok, not enough broth.Food: 2/5
I attended a 70th Birthday Party and the Brunch/Lunch was executed perfectly by our server, Judy. Guinness on tap... can't go wrong.Food: 5/5
This place is entirely mediocre. Food is mostly fine, certainly never excellent and occasionally poor. Servers are friendly but obviously poorly trained/managed. I try this place once a year or so and every time I think that it just doesn’t live up to its potential. It’s a shame. It’s a nice looking place in such a great spot—I wish the restaurant lived up to its appearance and location.
Had my father’s 85th birthday my family and friends raved about the fabulous and delicious food and the was wonderful staff!! The owners made his wishes come true with some of his favorites that my grandmother once made!! Thank you for making us all enjoy his day!!Food: 5/5
I hosted a small graduation party for my daughter on a Saturday. Affordable and great options. We chose buffet style with 2 entrées, 1 appetizer, salad, potatoes, and roasted vegetables. The chicken parm was delicious, tender, and flavorful. The team who served us was attentive and understanding. They took care of literally everything. We opted for a cash bar, and our bartender was awesome. I highly recommend it! I can't wait to go for dinner one night. Thank you, Café Amici!
Great family style Italian restaurant. Ordered the specialty chicken risotto & the veil saltimbocca. Both delicious. The attire was relaxed and the place was busy on a Sunday night. Service was friendly. Food was delicious. Value was fair. I felt like 4 stars feels right, as it's not a destination restaurant. But it is a fantastic local Cafe.
First time there and picked a very busy Saturday night before Mothers Day! Seated us in the worst possible spot near the serving door to the outside. But, that was OK as compared to the 2 Adults and 3 College kids sitting nearby dropping the ‘ F ‘ Bomb aloud all through Dinner! Also the Wood molding could use a Swiffer! Noisy as Hell! Amazingly, the Service and Food was Outstanding and the prices were fair! Will never be on my Short List, but definitely will be back there!
We have eaten at Cafe Amici often. Seems to get better each time. Gourmet Italian if there is such a thing!?!Food: 5/5
