Beautiful tea house, try the Champagne Raspberry tea! Reservations needed for special events such as the ballet performances which is a wonderful experience during afternoon tea.
Love love love this place. Had the best experience; such good teas, food and service. Such a lovely couple running it. My new obsession is the lemoncello bars.
Tried this place a couple of times. One old lady owns it and spent an hour telling us what a big celebrity she was. Tea was okay, took nearly an hour just to get a pot of tea not to mention the cheap store bout pastries and cookies that were as stale as the flavor of the decor. We will not be back.
Conundrum: you are a modern princess with a penchant for regailing the world in your fine lacery but can find no place to entertain your friends for tea. Solution: this place! Any establishment that advertises Cinderella tea on the front of their doors is clearly cutting the wake for other tea bearing establishments that aspire to a graduated level of refinery. Jane Austen wood feel right at home in this place! While I saw no princesses while I was there, I was definitely on the look-out for them, and it was clear to me that with the right bates in place and perhaps an effective trail cam, one could observe these semi-mythical creatures in their natural environs. How lovely!
I have attended high tea as well as several events at the Cafe and had an unforgettable time every time. Whenever my sister is in town she asks for us to go, it has become our special place to escape and spend time together. The tea is so smooth and unique, and the treats equally tasty. I recently visited for the Cinderella event in Sept 2019 and the venue was beautiful. The wait staff were courteous and the owner attentive to her crowd and performer. It was a magical day, we took so many pictures; the Cafe made for a magical setting for family pictures! If you go with the intent to just be served tea and be in and out you will miss the full experience the Cafe has to offer. The time with family, friends, just enjoying the venue is priceless. I highly recommend
Cafe Du coco is nothing short of amazing. The staff is friendly and well mannered, the owners Natasha and Gert are just the best and the most kind hearted people. The food is out of this world, its so fresh and flavorful and colorful! The decor is like nothing i have ever seen, its so unique, and you certainly will not find something this exquisite just anywhere. If you are looking for a tea room Cafe Du Coco is your new spot.
One of the best tea experiences I've ever had! The food is amazing, I can't even decide what my favorite was because it's all so good. The atmosphere is so beautiful and relaxing. The owner told us about she hand painted an icon of Mary on the wall, just to give you an idea of how lovely it is. You can tell the owners are really passionate about this teahouse, and it shows in every aspect. I'm already planning a return trip!
I’ve been here twice and it just kept getting worse. The place itself is gorgeous. But the management is ugly! Whether by phone to try to confirm your reservation or face to face, the owner treats you like a Slight annoyance and not a paying customer that matters. At first, this maybe seems like it’s because she is stressed or distracted. You let it go because the place and the tea is amazing to be in. 3 of us were supposed to attend the first time but there were complications and one couldn’t come. It was the Alice in wonderland tea party. The owner was not very nice first coming in. Then when we explained a friend couldn’t make it, she got annoyed. We asked if her ticket could be moved to another party for Christmas. The owner stated that that would be fine. Just remind her. My friend did 3 times via calls and texts. With no response. Forward to Christmas. We all three were able to go and confirmed our tickets ahead of time. We arrive and begin to get questioned. She had changed her prices for the Christmas party, did not inform my friend, then demanded her to pay the extra amount, making this party another 25% more! When my friend refused and stated that she was not notified and that she should honor her previous promise, the owner said it wasn’t her fault and that’s what she has to pay. When my friend stood her ground, the owner threw a fit and when my friend got upset, the owner stated, “Hey, calm down, it’s Christmas!” ...the owner relented but made it obnoxiously and very unprofessionally clear that my friend was NOT going to get the same treatment nor menu as the Christmas party had. She explained each of our items when the food came out explaining....every....detail....how hers was different for ours and repeated that this is because she would not pay the extra amount, making this situation “her fault”. We paid about $70 for the Christmas tea party that was supposed to have a live harp player. That didn’t happen either. Never going there again.
I attended the Cinderella tea today with my mom and my 7 year old daughter. To start with the good, I will say that the backyard atmosphere was beautiful and the wait staff was friendly and clearly working hard to make this event work. However, my first impression was not good at all when we walked into the house to be seated, standing behind several other guests who were also there for the Cinderella tea. Suddenly the owner came bursting through the group, yelling at us and shooing us out. She yelled that the guests for the tea were NOT supposed to come in the house, that we had to wait outside to be seated. My immediate thought was, "Are you kidding me?? This is how you're treating your paying customers?" Honestly, if I had been treated like that at another restaurant I would have just turned around and walked out, but the 3 of us were all dressed up and had come specifically for this event. Once seated outside, we enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and were treated very well by the rest of the wait staff. It was a bit annoying to be served room temperature water with no ice on a 95 degree day outside, and it was more than 90 minutes before we had food in front of us. But the atmosphere was generally nice and the owner did come apologize for the wait. I heard her speak sharply to several staff members who were the ones best representing her business to her customers by treating us kindly and serving us well. Overall it was fine but being yelled at on arrival and hearing how the owner was treating her staff definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and it's unlikely that I would return to such a business.
Beautiful atmosphere for Christmas High Tea. All sorts of details and hand-painted furniture done by the owner herself who also does art classes upstairs. The teas were delicious, the food delicious and beautifully presented, and even Santa showed up and gave my daughter a stuffed animal! It was delightful!
