Had a yummy brunch complete with delicious coffee, Mimosas & Bloody Mary's! The food was AMAZING, the service super sweet and timely. We enjoyed the atmosphere very much and could envision having frequent lazy Sunday brunches with friends and family if we lived in the area! The buttermilk biscuits are super special and the sausage gravy to die for! We will be back!
The biscuits and gravy are the best I've ever had anywhere! And the cheesy jalapeno grits are incredible! The only thing that could have been better is the food was delivered warm, not hot, like it had been sitting longer than it should have been. Also, it was a bit difficult to get coffee refills. But the food was so good, I still gave this experience 5 stars!
Went on a Thursday morning at nine...plenty of open seating. Asked the gal seating us if our party of four could sit at an open booth that was open and was told that they had a strict policy on rotations - so she sat us at a smaller table and gave the booth to the party of two behind us. I'm not going to lie - I was annoyed by this, but we did enjoy our server. All of our selections were very well prepared and tasty...my dad's Bloody Mary was a little too peppery/spicy for him, so would recommend saying how mild or not you desire yours. I have dined here before, as well as two other locations in town - this wasn't my favorite Lucile's experience, but again - the food was really good
This darling yellow Victorian house is a real gem! Authentic Cajun cuisine. Lucile’s first chef received his training from the famous New Orleans restaurant, “Commanders Palace". Being a Louisiana native, I can account the Creole menu at Lucile's IS authentic New Orleans Creole cuisine!! My daughter & son-in-law brought me here while I was visiting from Louisiana for her Graduation and it did NOT disappoint. Service was excellent and the food was Superb!
Yum!!! Love love love this restaurant! I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed yet and it’s because I want it to stay a secret! Their biscuits are plate sized and amazing! Everything that my family has ever ordered has been scrumptious and the employees are over the top fantastic as well! Thanks Lucille’s for making our family happy!
The Beignets were amazing, never had one but they were so good. The eggs Benedict was top tier. Biscuits as big as your head,lol. The apple butter and blueberry jam was so good I had to get some to go for later.Recommended dishesEggs Benedict, Biscuits and Gravy, Beignets
Their food and service was great. I ordered a side of sausage gravy for my biscuit and loved it. Most places I have gone to have blah milk gravy but this was spicy with lots of flavor. My table got of collards to share and everyone loved them. Will be back the next time I am in Denver.
First time here after hearing how good it was for years. Lucille's did not disappoint. The biscuits & gravy were top notch. The coffee was heavenly, and the service was great.
Freaking fantastic. No matter what you order, add a biscuit with gravy. Bloody Mary is on-point, as are the eggs benny. Call ahead to make sure you are able to get in. They may or may not answer. If they don’t answer, probably should hold off for a bit.
MEREDITH, the GM and CECILIA, our server were AWESOME! I'll definitely go back! The beignets were DELICIOUS! I had the egg nog pancakes... Omgosh, so so good! The only thing better than the food was the service! Made me feel like family! Thank you so much!
