The corned beef hash I had was great but my wife's pancakes were small and dense. Liked the family and military decor. The person working front of the house needs to dress properly for greeting customers, not in a T-shirt and sweatpants. Reasonably priced menu.

German Burger was to die for! Burger was freshly made and had outstanding flavor! Highly recommended!!!! Update. Went for breakfast. Portions were super small. I ordered an $8.25 breakfast and I left still hungry. Very disappointing. Gone down hill since my above visit.

Very pleasant. We went in, without realizing it was close to their closing time they close at 2pm and we were still welcomed warmly. We ate their Turkey wraps, and really enjoyed our lunch! Very casual, give it a try.

Stopped there on a Saturday morning. The food was ample and very good but service was lacking. Even though it was a busy time, they should be prepared for it. Once a waitress brings your food you will never see her again. Most of us have to go to the counter to get our check and pay the bill. My waitress was busy on the phone with take out orders, ignoring her customers. Very non existent management.

Went here on a Monday morning with my husband for breakfast. Felt like we were troubling the waitress by having her take our food order. Then when the food came the eggs were runny. Asked if we could have them cooked a little longer. She didn’t even apologize. The coffee was terrible. I didn’t even get through my first cup. Avoid this place.

disgusting and filthy. From top to bottom this place is disgusting. It looks like they haven’t cleaned in years. The food was bad the few bites I had before I found TWO HAIRS in my eggs. The waitress was kind enough to not charge us for my food... and then my daughter’s pancake also a hair in it. My stomach hurts just thinking about this place. We will never come back.

The food is good but the lady that works there is not friendly whatsoever. Very cold and not outgoing at all. Always feel like I'm bothering her for a refill or request. Awful service and felt my business was very unappreciated. No "welcome back good to see you" or even a thank you. Very cold service. It's kind of a shame because it's named after a veteran who served our country who was killed and you would think that they would be more appreciative of people that go there to support him. Not going back. I'll stick with Washington Street Diner.

Breakfast was amazing. Everything you could want out of a diner. Eggs were great. Bacon was crispy. Toast had melty butter. Service had a smile and coffee was always flowing. Great spot.

One of the best breakfast places in the area. If you want good homestyle breakfasts with a smile please come here. Wonderful staff. Great food. A hidden gem.

Happened took at watch--sat down at 11:34. Big clock on wall! Ordered 2 breakfasts--eggs, bacon toast, potatoes at 11:40 . Walked out at 12:10--were told at noon that food was coming out. Watched folks who came in after us being served. Have been here before and was pleased--awful today
