They had had their muffins placed in the wrong spot and I had to be at court at 8 am. I didn’t realize it was chocolate until I was in line to check in family court they they misplaced their blueberry with chocolate and had to throw it away cus I couldn’t have no open food. Long story short they told me in order to get a refund I had to dig threw the trash can at family court find the chocolate muffin that was given to me in order for a refund!!! They are ignorant especially the owner so I wouldn’t support them again EVER!!
I work across the street from them and have been going there for years but I’m done today. I’ve spent hard earned money on overpriced breakfast and lunch and today I tried to buy a couple snacks and it came to 4.58$ and the guy from behind the counter told me I needed to spend at least 5$, I said it’s only 0.42$ under. He says I can use cash, I know that but I don’t carry cash. I just spent 20$ on a mediocre breakfast platter last week and just because I’m 0.42$ short of 5$ I can’t buy what I want. And that goes against the debit card rules of service agreement or something. I will never spend a cent in there again, I had enough money to buy something else to make it go over 5$ but I refused today on principle alone.
Double check your food before leaving. I asked for Turkey bacon and received pork bacon in addition to Turkey bacon. Overall food is good and service is friendly….Food: 1/5
Its a small establishment, serving a small variety of food. The coffee is ok, gets the job done, but I feel like the prices of sandwiches and things alike are expensive. My first order was a wrap, they serve it with tortilla chips, very stale.
So my honest opinion is the two people who make your food are not pleasant at all! The only nice one is the cashier man. Also one thing I don’t like is there prices are extremely high! It’s outrageously expensive for a regular sandwich that you can get from wawa for half the price! They really need to lower there prices and tell the two people the man and women to be more kind to their customers.
Great food cheese steak was amazing I will be coming back
I ordered a sandwich without cheese...I was charged for cheese. I asked for receipt--hesitant to give to me, she finally did. Told her I didn't get cheese...she says cheese good. Don't try to act like you don't understand me, conveniently. You understand perfectly well that you tried to cheat me. How many others have been overcharged and never realized it?...they habitually do this by virtue of the fact she wasnt really trying to give me my receipt...guilt was all over her. Asian lives matter but they cannot cheat you and expect to get away with it.
A cut above the average breakfast/lunch joint. Salads are freshly made on site as ordered and ate excellent. This includes delicious chicken salad never had the egg or tuna salads, but know they too are freshly made there. Sandwiches are also made to order and, unlike the other Old Nelson's, this one has a grill. Started eating there in 2007 and still go out of my way to eat there
I forgot why I stopped going. Then I decided that I wanted french toast. I went to order the French toast platter. The platter comes with french toast, home-fries and your choice of breakfast meat for $7.01. I asked how much would it be if I didn't want the home-fries. They said $7.55. I said well can I just order the platter without the the home-fries. They said they'll give them to me on the side I can give them to somebody. Then I remembered that I stopped going to them because the last time I wanted french toast I asked if I could have cheese eggs to substitute for the home-fries and bacon and they didn't want to substitute and I was over charged. They will not be getting my money for anything else.
Great place. Sandwiches have always been good. Been following them since they opened first store at 7th and Chestnut and every store I went in has the same great quality.
